The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, bar, juicery, and “vegetable slaughterhouse." We treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: We chop, fillet, and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices. Our five locations serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. We take pride in our daily-changing menu, which is 100% vegetarian, with many vegan and gluten-free options.

The Butcher's Daughter consistently delivers on this front. Their menu boasts a variety of delicious vegan options that are both satisfying and innovative. Today, I indulged in the exquisite Lemon Lavender Waffle, a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The delicate balance of tart lemon, fragrant lavender, and the velvety sweetness of vegan whipped cream was simply divine. The addition of fresh peaches and a mysterious, colorful fruit elevated the dish to new heights. The presentation was a work of art, and the taste was even more impressive. Another great dinner at our favorite table and loved our waitress who I believe might also be an assistant manager. Food is delicious. We really love it here.

This used to be a special place. Our recent visit will be our last. Food was unremarkable, service people were distracted and outdoor tables are ridiculously tiny and packed like sardines. Awful.

REPOST-The staff at Butcher’s Daughter are not afraid to make things right! I retract my complaint about no free refills. Something was amiss the day I visited and they do offer free refills on ice tea. Every time I am in Venice I come across point to visit Butcher’s Daughter. I am gluten and dairy free and I know that there will be something tasty for me on the menu. The lemon lavender waffle was incredibly delicious. (My only complaint is with the lack of free (or reduced price)refills on the ice tea. I understand charging for each fresh pressed juice, yet the ice tea is premade. The charge is not necessary. Knowing I would be charged full price for the refill I would have chosen differently.) Even with this issue, I will still visit again.

First time dining at this location. Food is great and looks like they use good quality ingredients. However the table space for 2 person table is too small if you order a few dishes. Couple of our plates are too big for the dish which takes up unnecessary table space. They use stool chairs in their main dining space which is quite uncomfortable if you do not have strong core and good upright posture. Oh ask for itemized bill before you pay so there will not be any surprises of additional health/insurance tax.

This is THE PLACE FOR VEGAN FOOD! It has vegetarian options for your dairy and egg eaters but also anything can be customised to be completely vegan too! It’s perfect for families and we love the butchers daughter classic burger, Skip the impossible burger, their own is far superior! The only down sides to this place is the staff runaway from your table when you’re in the middle of ordering and the desserts are just… welll… fishy? It’s odd but the chocolate matcha cake tastes of fish? Go for the oat ice cream instead. All in all the atmosphere is great and the main meals are very tasty!

Food was bad, service was mediocre. Server never asked about the food after it was. Gnocchi tasted like soap. Way overpriced.
