The food was outstanding. From the amuse-bouche to the in-house Waygu chocolates, this was an incredible meal. I must pay special homage though to the 16 oz Waygu ribeye. This decadently rich, well-marbled, perfectly cooked cut of beef was a religious experience.

If you’ve ever wanted to spend over $1,000 on a good, but fairly straightforward, dinner for two, you’ve come to the right place! The food is admittedly tasty and creative, but other restaurants serve equally delicious steaks with as much flair (and often better surroundings) for half the price or less. TBC’s staff are certainly attentive but not quite at the standard of the city’s best restaurants. The wine list is similarly overpriced. Some great bottles, but they would be 30% less at other top eateries. It’s as if the management specifically designed the menu for high-rollers who want to show off how much they can spend as opposed to how enjoyable a dining experience can be.

What an outstanding meal. The service was impeccable. The decor perfectly created a steakhouse vibe for modern sensibilities. The food was incredible. We all loved the Cesar salad. The steak was perfectly cooked. The sautéed mushrooms to die for. And my son gave his octopus a 10/10. This is a wonderful special occasion spot.

One of the best restaurant experiences I have had in the city! This beautiful hidden gem in downtown Toronto serves some of the best foods and cocktails in the city. The minimal seating allows for an intimate personalized experience. I came for the first time with a friend yesterday and made a reservation at the bar for Saturday night. The staff are incredible, with impressive high quality service. A huge shoutout to Sky (the bartender) and Mo (lead server), these two made our experience the BEST. Sky is so kind and extremely knowledgable, we asked him to surprise us based on our tastes, and he made the best cocktails. He is so so talented! Mo, was so friendly, and asked us many times if there was anything we needed or to help us with making menu choices. We had several cocktails, Sky's espresso martini was fantastic and we also ordered asparagus and mushroom dishes, as well as a beautiful chocolate gateau that came with chocolate crumble and vanilla ice cream (ugh to die for)! We can't wait to come back and have dinner, and enjoy the steak and extensive wine list!

My favourite, and the best steakhouse in Toronto! I’ve dined here numerous times, and I’ve never had a bad dish. Also, the staff here are some of the best in the industry.

The steak and sides were excellent. I'm not giving them full marks however because of 2 things: 1) the wine list, while outstanding in terms of selection, was out-of-this-world expensive. Yes, it's a high-end steakhouse but comparable places have similar extensive wine options, but you can still get a decent bottle for between $100-$150...most wines here were significantly more...wow. And 2) the appetizer I had was quite "fishy" tasting considering it was shellfish which usually isn't especially fishy(perhaps it was old), and the dessert was exceptionally small and lacking in flavour.
