Lovely place, nice ambience inside with a lovely area outside and play area for the kids. I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. We all had different dishes and each one was exemplary. Compliments to the Chef.

I cannot praise the Burrator Inn highly enough, you certainly made our daughter’s 18th birthday special. The food was absolutely delicious and fantastic service from all the staff that looked after us. A beautiful pub/ restaurant and lovely atmosphere. Thank you so much!!!

A lovely meal out for Father’s Day, menu choice was good and food was of excellent quality when it arrived, we waited 1/2 hour for our starter which we felt was a bit poor. But overall, we had a lovely lunch thank you.

It was utterly disappointing. The initial welcome was warm and friendly, and our food order was taken efficiently. Then, it all began to go wrong. It was a really long wait for the food, even though it was not very busy. The prices are a bit on the high side, and the portions are stingy. If you want vegetables as a side, be prepared to pay £4.00 for a ramekin of frozen peas and over-microwaved green beans. My battered fish was overcooked and dry. The service from one female staff member was surly and almost comical. I asked for some mayonnaise, and she brought me an empty bottle. When I finally managed to get her attention, she fetched me another bottle and pretty much slammed it down on the table. I wouldn't have minded, but guess what? This one was empty, too! We witnessed a couple walk out leaving their food untouched, and another complain about a 45-minute wait, and still their food had not arrived. Red wine was terrible. Children's macaroni cheese was no more than a saucerfull. There's a reason this place was so quiet on a Saturday night!

I just had a main meal that was just over 15 pound for pie and mash. Price wise I believe that to be a little bit excessive the reason we chose the borough tour in was because they had a supper Club that was two courses for 19 pound but when we got there we found out they didn't do it on a Friday but by then it was too late to go anywhere else.

Haven’t visited the pub for awhile. Was told food was good but a bit expensive compared to most pubs. I have to agree with that statement. The food was good very enjoyable, only downside I had a pie n chips, but the pastry on the pie wasn’t very crisp, I would say it was microwaved to warm it up. Other than that my wife enjoyed her fish and chips.
