Food was excellent, steak cooked to perfection, both enjoyed our food. Beer was excellent too.

We had a table of 6 and were served promptly. All staff friendly quite busy but still not an inconvenience to ask for anything.

Last year we went to Barbados on holiday and made friends with two other couples, one from Hull, Yorkshire and the other couple from Maidston in Kent. They travelled a long way oth of them to spend time with us. We took them to Chester fro a day, to a national trust property near Wrexham and to see the aqueduct 126 feet in the air nearby. Having been impressed by those visits we only had the evening meal left to impress them with. We booked the Bulls Head and boy were we pleased with the choice. The staff were great, the food was amazing, we all had different meals and we all commented on how good the food was. One of the couples went back to the Bull for lunch before setting off home. Thank you all for an amazing experience. We'll ba back.

I had a lovely meal at The Bulls Head in Davenham. Their food is very nice, I had the steak and ale pie. It was a little noisy but the delicious food made up for that.

We have eaten there before and enjoyed it but we attended on this occasion for our 45th wedding anniversary and were disappointed. We ordered our starters but when they came it was different to what we had ordered and were told that the chef had changed the menu but we had not been told. we then had to choose an alternative and the other starter kept hot so that they could be served together, a little dried up. For the main courses we ordered seafood linguini which was nice but the lamb was overcooked and half the vegetables were burnt although well hidden under the meat. We would have had a dessert but couldn't find any staff so paid on the way put at the bar. Disappointing on this occasion.

The food was fab we both had crispy chilli steak and salt and pepper chips , staff are all lovely too .

Well what a lovely traditional Cheshire pud. And the food, where to start... absolutely beautiful. The Prawns and goat cheese starters were stunning. And mains WOW did want it to end. So if you want a lovely night out this is a must try pub

Very pleasant , wine a bit expensive and I didn’t realise it was steak night but we like the Bulls Head so it didn’t matter
