Your table will be booked for:
1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 2;
2 hours for parties of up to 4;
2 hours 30 minutes for parties of up to 6;
3 hours for parties of 7+.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

We look forward to welcoming you at The Bull Highgate! All tables are held for a max of 15 minutes, so if you are running late please call us to let us know. All tables outside are subject to the wonderful British weather, so please be prepared for this accordingly.

The back garden closes at 9 PM, so please be aware that the last bookings we are able to offer for this area are at 6 PM for the parties of 6+ and 6:30 PM for the smaller groups.

We will try, where we can to accommodate specific table requests, but cannot guarantee specific table allocation, especially at peak times.

Havnt been to the Bull for a while for dinner, but we went last night and the food was superb, I had the smoked mackerel pate and the burger and they were both fantastic and full of flavour, really good! Can’t wait to go back with other friends, so happy they have a great chef and new staff long may it continue 👍 wonderful service too.

My daughter and i cane from the south ciast for Sunday lunch with my father, and were sasly dissapointed. After reading mixed reviews i suspected it was a gamble and all the reviews are correct. Really lovely front of house staff who had to constantly apologise for the kitchens mistakes. Incorrect food brought to the table. A very small bowl of olives brought to the table and then charged for when we didn't order them (£7!) We didn't even suspect we would be charged or question them as the bowl was so small, we assumed they were complimentary. Incorrect dishes brought out, when correct beef sunday roast was brought out it was missing elements (Yorkshire pudding). My daughters food came out last, with an extra portion of Chips we didn't order, when we asked to replace potatoes on her dish with chips. My father's sea bass looked nice but the portion was small for the price. The ambience in the back garden was nice and if you take cushions from the entrance a more comfortable experience. The food itself was a fair standard, but not somewhere I would recommend or return. Thank you to our very kind front of house staff (young man with glasses, didn't catch his name)

The ambiance was lovely and the service was wonderful, the staff we very polite and attentive. Real shame the main meals and desserts were terrible! The starters were very tasty, lots of flavour. I did pass my comments on to the staff who were very understanding. Would not recommend for food but maybe for a drink and a few snacks.

Our family had Sunday lunch at The Bull yesterday. The food was delicious but the service was outstanding. Our daughter is autistic and the staff accommodated all her needs graciously and kindly. We also, had our 2 year old granddaughter with us and they were so thoughtful, bringing her food first enabling us to have relaxed and happy experience. The staff are exceptional and I cannot thank them enough. The food and wine were delicious too!! A throughly memorable experience. Thank you!!😊🥇

Quiet garden at back, just need some cushions to ease the hard seats. Great service and good value. Good selection of craft beers. Highly recommend.

Food, service staff and prices are good but kitchen is understadffed and overwhelmed so it may take up to an hour for food to be served at busy times.

We're indeed still working to strike the perfect balance between the size of the team and what we produce, but those moments are fewer and far between - and soon to become a thing of the past!
