First time visiting here for over 20 years food & service great nice young couple just taken over doing a sterling job good luck to them both I will definitely be back

Went for lunch on Saturday and it was amazing. The food was excellent, staff couldn’t have been more courteous and the pub was lovely. Can highly recommend the garlic mushroom and Stilton burger. It was delish!

Hmmm, my last visit was pre Covid and it was pretty poor then as the place was empty and there was only two of us for lunch which ended up a disaster. I always try to give a venue a second chance and I realise they are /were short staffed on a bank holiday Monday. A big shout out to the young lady behind the bar who served us well with drinks but the main meals (Fish especially had obviously been hanging about before we finally got it served to the table). I doubt we/I will be returning any time soon which is a pity as it is a really nice place. Usually our family all have a sweet but Palace were playing Man U and we sensed a big Palace win and the thought off waiting another 45 minutes for the dessert to arrive was just too much. Palace won BTW 4-0.

I recently visited the bull and dog with my young family. The lady serving was lovely but it was only her waiting on and serving so service was slow and not great as it got busier. The food was average and what you'd expect for the price. Would return for drinks in the summer as the beer garden is lovely and has a good play area for my toddler.

Food was really disappointing everything was timed or frozen was really looking forward to my roast dinner it’s was all tined veg frozen potatoes beef was really chewy my daughter got lan Lasagna came with no garlic bread just on its own what looked microwaved staff were lovely but to come and eat again I wouldn’t and wouldn’t recommend for food

This is the first time we've ventured out for Christmas dinner! We chose the Bull & Dog as we come with our dog all year round. The food is always delicious and Christmas day was no different! It was fab! The atmosphere was great, chilled and relaxed. The service was great too! Time between our dishes was just right! They done themselves proud!
