    Nice pub, but not great value at all. £45 for a shared portion of roast beef with 2x tiny pieces each, and then being charged for vegetables as well. Plus 15% service charge. It’s a shame as the food was nice, just not enough of it for the price they are charging. Happy to spend the money, but the value was not aligned.

    The cauliflower and cheese is not in the menu was was a disappointment and the roast pork did not include roast potatoes so paid £5 for a serving. Otherwise a delicious meal as always

    Service was impeccable: we were treated courteously and served promptly but without being pushy. Good beer, lovely wine and food was excellent.

    What a find. The Builders Arms was one of my regular haunts in the late 90's. Today's version is even better. Great ambience and better food. This is a real find in Chelsea.

    Really enjoyed our afternoon at The Builders Arms. The staff were all really welcoming, attentive and helpful from the moment we walked in. The roast was really tasty and cooked well, all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Great gravy and accompanying dishes also. Music was just the right level and super playlist of classics. Can’t wait to visit again!

    Ridiculously overpriced wine list - cheap bad wines marked up to over £60. Awful live singer cleared out 1/2 the bar and meant we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. Service was amateurish for the price.

    What happened to Builders Arms?? It used to be one of my favourite’s pubs in Chelsea. I revisited it after returning from overseas. It is shocking to see the service being poor, waitress is rude, and the food, is practically a rip off. I met up with an ex- colleague there for lunch yesterday. The serving waitress was curt and unhelpful. The lunch menu is underwhelming. I ordered a burger and asked for some gherkins to go with it. The waitress replied coldly “we don’t have gherkins!”. When asked if they serve fish and chips, again she said coldly “we don’t do fish and chips!” The burger is £12 but it does not come with fries or salad. So I had to order them separately at £6 each. These make the total cost of a burger meal at £24.00+service charge. For £6 the salad was literally 4 lettuce leaves with some drops of dressing. For £6 the number of fries one could count in one hand! What happened to Builders Arms? Under previous management the food menu rotated periodically, serving staff were enthusiastic and helpful, prices were reasonable. It is none of these anymore. It is such a shame!

    Meals were lovely. Especially the pork with crackling. Veges very undercooked though. Only giving 4 stars because they were woefully understaffed. The wait staff that were there did the best they could but they needed at least twice as many.
