The Bucks Arms is a traditional 17th century pub and former coaching Inn located next to the Blickling Estate. Serving many real ales and great food, we are also dog-friendly with a large garden.

Situated just a mile outside the town of Aylsham The Bucks offers a traditional English pub feel, with picturesque surroundings and plenty of history - while being within easy reach of other amenities and attractions.

Excellent Food - With our team of chefs running the kitchen, you can expect delicious home-cooked food beautifully presented and packed with flavour.

Quality Drinks - We are proud to be a Cask Marque recognised pub and have a great selection of real ales including at least 2 seasonal guest beers.

Wines are served by the glass or the bottle from an exciting and changing wine list.

We had a loud group on the table near to us and another couple who were obviously not happy with food - woman pulling food in and out of her mouth! Overall we would definitely go again but perhaps site outside or in dining room

We have previously had an excellent experience at the Bucks Arms. Last night was a little disappointing. The food overall was good but not amazing. Roast potatoes had clearly been kept warm and were rubbery. The crab salad was nice but blind. They could have done a more interesting salad rather than the ubiquitous leaves and tomato. We were not asked how our food was and despite me telling them on the booking that it was my 50th birthday- no mention was made. Staff were pleasant and professional but didn't really speak much.

Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday roast beef and chocolate brownie pudding. All excellent.

First visit and overall very impressed particularly as service was good on a very busy evening. An issue with the cut of lamb in the curry was reported but the manager listened graciously to our comments and took unexpected action. My friends from Stamford were also very happy. I will return.

Took a friend along to treat him on his 80th birthday. Both he and his wife had never eaten here before. They were very impressed with both the quality of the food and the charming staff who looked after us. None of this surprised my Wife and I,because we have always found the Bucks head consistently good. Hence the reason we chose it for Richards big day.
