Fab restaurant. Cannot fault it - always amazing food and atmosphere, together with great service. We’ll be back again soon. Brook Bistro goes from strength to strength!

The good was delicious but we left early after we ate as it was so noisy there with a roudy table of people next to us We couldn’t hear each other talk.

Thank you for your feedback i'm so glad you enjoyed your meals and Im sorry the table next to you were chatting a bit to loud for your liking but any restaurant worth its salt on a Saturday night will be busy and the two tables that were sat next to you were not overly noisy. I've also just observed your visit on the camera and can see no problem with you conversing all throughout your visit and that you did not bring any issue up with the team (if this is not the case then please accept my apologies). We are expanding the restaurant and will be opening an are that will be mainly for tables of two so hopefully on your return this might work better for you. Excellent food and service. I had the chicken supreme and the mushroom sauce was incredible. Two had the lamb and one a lamb tagine, they all said how good it was. Clean plates all around and the service was excellent.

Too many tables and dinners making the noise level dreadful. I met with friends but we were hardly able to hear each other speak. My friend also wanted her steak medium rare and had to Send it back due to it being over cooked. Trying to accommodate too many people which spoils it

Thank you for your feedback we do appreciate it. We were as team surprised by criticism and by the word dreadful we do feel this is somewhat harsh. We did not detect any problem with conversing with you ourselves and we certainly weren't made aware of this issue by any of you durinng you 2.5 hrs long visit.# With a menu offering of £18.95 for two courses the idea would even be able to be in business and pay all of staff if we did less tables is not an option. The slightly overdone 6oz steak was remedied with minutes by our kitchen team and the lady that ate this said it was delicious, as you all did about your meals. We hope you will return to see us again but we can't guarantee it will be quiet though.

Only thing we didn’t enjoy was the music which was shouty and seemed inappropriate for the setting. Otherwise good food and good service as usual. We chose from the set lunch menu, but, although I enjoyed my spaghetti, had I not wanted pasta there wouldn’t have been a great choi for someone who never orders a burger. A fish choice would’ve been nice or a less creamy pasta choice maybe.

Lovely front of house and servers. Polite efficient and warm young team. The terrace dining room was freezing, and the heater we needed to stay warm offended a couple behind us who asked for it to be moved. This made it absolutely freezing and very uncomfortable. Food was underwhelming with incredibly small portions. One very small salmon fillet on a spoonful of sauce, two stems of broccoli and three tiny potatoes….. The potential is there but maybe the kitchen is overwhelmed by a busy breakfast and brunch service. The young team are incredible and how they cope with trays laden with drinks and the heavy door between the restaurant and the outside terrace was masterful.
