Welcome to The Brompton Cross.
This beautifully refurbished local landmark offers a tasty, compact and thoughtful Classic Pub menu, with the very best of British produce - sitting alongside a carefully selected wine, bespoke beer and cocktail list.

Food and service were both great. We sat upstairs where one cheerful lady took care of everyone.

The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but the service was warm helpful. Our waitress greeted us with a smile. We ordered a scotch egg and sausages. Both were delicious. I also had a Caesar salad that was very good! The dressing was fresh and flavorful. My family had fish and chips and steak frites. Both very good. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal!

I was meeting up with friends visiting from the USA and this was the last night of their holiday, so we chose to eat close to the hotel and lucked out with The Brompton Cross. It was busy in the bar, but up in the restaurant it was peaceful and the setting was lovely - the food was delicious and the service great. I'll definitely be going back there again as I need to have the Guinness rarebit again!

The Brompton Cross came recommended to us. Great neighborhood and atmosphere. Good way to wind down after a long day. The servers where very attentive and friendly. The food and drinks where fantastic!

Unfortunately, our experience at The Brompton Cross was a very bad one. We were sat at our table and, given the other reviews, very much looking forward to our meal. A few minutes after being seated and enjoying a first glass of wine we were told that they would be showing the football (Champions League) in the restaurant!! This wasn’t explained when we booked nor when we were shown to our table. The thought of having roaring crowds being blasted out while we ate was too much and so we had to leave. But not until we had to argue with the waitress about being charged for a full bottle of wine which we never finished.

Amazing - the food was great and both of my kids enjoyed everything we ordered. Our server was incredibly sweet and accommodating with them and for my food allergies. My older son even said he wants to go back any time we’re in London.

I read with interest competing comments about this pub so I was curious to see how it would good it could be. Overall this was a very good Sunday roast, perhaps a little light on the Beef on the plate when compared to somewhere like Blacklock in City but still good value. The real stand out for me was the service, absolutely fantastic. Super attentive to the entire room, brought sauces and extra gravy and mindful offering drinks at the right time. I’ll definitely be back
