The Broadcaster is a contemporary public house, dining room and rooftop bar at London’s iconic Television Centre in White City. This is my second time there with friends! Very nice place, helpful staff and good value for food and drinks! I’ll definitely go back again.

I'd heard this was a great place for food, and handy for Westfield Shepherd's Bush. It was an inauspicious start when they claimed they could not find my reservation, despite me showing them my OpenTable booking on my phone. They said they were having technical problems. The drinks menu is very small, with very few wines, and no soft drinks listed. The only low-sugar cola available was Diet Coke. A guest asked for a blackcurrant and soda and they had no blackcurrent. For a "public house" that also offers cocktails, this seems like a massive omission. The food was excellent, with sourdough starter, and mains of vegetarian Sunday roast, steak and chips, and delicious cheese dumplings, all recommended. However there the service ended. Nobody came to offer more drinks. No dessert menu. No offers of tea or coffee. Given that we were the only people in there on a Sunday afternoon, they ignored us until we asked for the bill. As usual for these places, a compulsory service charge of 12.5%. The card machine refused a Visa, a Mastercard and an Amex, so more technical issues. They seem to be too focussed on the roof garden at the expense of dining room guests downstairs. We won't be going back.

Difficult to get servers attention and several items were incorrect, however it was extremely busy. Food was very good.

Service needs a major improvement. Our dinner took nearly 40 min to arrive and no apologies or explanation when we asked where it was after 25 min. A free drink or bread would have been a nice offer. The restaurant was busy but not slammed. Enough staff were available and manager did not look busy or bother to stop by without being flagged. Food and drinks are good but unfortunately despite living nearby, we don't plan to return.

Nice restaurant but in a terrible location for parking. Food was ok and service was friendly. Some dishes were a bit too small but tasty. Overall a nice experience but some staff were a bit less attentive

Very pleasant experience. A bit expensive but I suppose you pay for where it is. My food was very good. My husband had the roast dinner and for the price it wasn’t really enough. Our booking didn’t go through to the Broadcaster but fortunately we got a table albeit away from the main restaurant. 7/10 really as it was a bit chilly and we felt left out of the main restaurant 🙁

We had to wait over 1.5 hours to get the food but the waiters were really nice and brought us free olives. Didn’t help the fact that the massive door was opened constantly to allow people to go and smoke on the balcony as it was cold. Average food for the price paid.

Waited awhile for the food as it was busy not that we complained. But was given Oliver’s and a free drink which I thought was very decent. The staff were very good making sure we were satisfied at all times
