Panoramic sea views on Kemptown seafront. This owner run bistro pub offers home cooked food and wonderful Sunday lunches. Friendly, informal service in a beautiful historic building located midway between the pier and the marina. The Bristol is a sophisticated venue that welcomes well behaved dogs and children aged 12 and over for lunch. The evenings are reserved for the grown ups. Formerly The Bristol Hotel, our art deco bar still retains it's classic ambience to make the most of the sea views and offers guests something that little bit special.

Sunday lunch with a friend. Outstanding food as always. Excellent choice of wines. To go with the meal, and exceptional service. A quiet and relaxing atmosphere, allows you to enjoy the food, the wine, and catch up with friends whilst taking in the sea view. Thank you Simon and his team

We booked a table with a nice view out to sea. On arrival, we received a very friendly welcome. We ordered drinks and were shown to our table and the drinks brought over. Having enjoyed most of our pre-dinner drinks, we ordered food. My wife had the chicken and I had lamb shank, although I nearly went for the beef dijon on the specials menu, but eventually chose the lamb. The food arrived and we were pleased with it. The chicken was not over-cooked (as it often can be), and the fries were good. The lamb shank came with green beans and mash. Nicely cooked. Beans not over-done, lamb just right. I had a large malbec with my main, which was good. We shared a lemon & lime pousett for dessert. Very nice. I had some doubts when I booked it, but we were very pleased. Would use this restaurant again.

The Bristol Bar is our place to go to when visiting Mum in Brighton. Always first class. We love it.

This is our fave place for a Sunday roast, we ve been as a couple and with family many times. The food is always excellent, portion size is big, choice great and staff very personable and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Great venue! We went for Sunday Roast. I had the roast beef which was cooked to perfection, meat and veg and my friends both had a salmon salad special, nice to see a decent size portion of salmon. Everyone had a a great time and look forward to coming back. Staff very friendly and helpful.
