Food was okay, was recommended the seafood grits and it wasn’t bad but not the best I had. Service was decent. Once seated the host immediately said it’s a 90 minute limit to the table. Our food arrived , we were eating and a guy came up and asked did we need boxes. It was rude and at that point I was ready to go. We had only been there for about 50 minutes counting. I went on a Friday for brunch @11. They did give my friend a birthday dessert which was decent. I’m open to trying again but very overrated. I’m definitely against the pressure of eating your food and immediately leaving. I wanted to enjoy the experience.

Will start off with the "good" - the Oxtail Egg Rolls were AMAZING! The eating area was super clean and the overall ambiance and decor is quite beautiful and inviting. Parking was easy too. Now for the "bad". Although our waiter was nice - the service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was practically empty. I ordered the crab bombs but, they never came. The drinks I had off the happy hour menu were much to sweet and weak. Like most restaurants these days they charge an automatic gratuity and they also charge an extra fee for using your card. Don't think I'd be interested in going back.

Came from Baltimore to try the seafood grits and it was worth the drive . My wife had the seafood Grits I tried the collegiate which is oxtail with potatoes and fried egg on top . Both was Great . Service was Great ! Will be back

Service is slow. Ran out of food on the menu. Ambiance is poor and way too loud

The food was great. I have an issue with all the extra fees, like an 18% service charge and 3% fee if I use my credit/debit card instead of cash. I will not be dining there again i have serious issue with restaurants charging these fees

The breakfast club's food is delicious! I've never had a bad meal there. Nice ambiance as well.

the food had no flavor. our server forgot to put our order in when ordered, so it took a while for us to get our food. we had a take out order as well and that was messed up. a tip is automatically added to your bill no matter the size of your party. the music was very loud. this all happened on a Thursday morning. the food is pretty, but no flavor. we ordered the chicken biscuit and the seafood fried rice. the to-go order was supposed to be the glazed wings, but we were given fried wings instead. the Iced tea is definitely Lipton Brisk that is put in a nice glass and charged $5! our server was pleasant, but mistakes were made.

I was really excited to make this visit. A friend told me about a new place which was in very convenient for me. So I ventured out with great anticipation. It was a beautiful night here in the city and I was thrilled to be able to sit outside. My waiter was the problem of the night, when I told him I believe I was given wrong drink, he insisted that he had it right. He took on this demeanor as if he was doing me a favor by allowing me to dine. Later when I asked for ice for the drink, he told me that I’m sorry I brought you the wrong drink! Through the night was rude and short. The straw the broke the camels back was when he walked away with my CC. I spoke with the manager who also happened to be the chef (by the way the food was delightful), and I expressed to her my deep disappointment with him. I told her he did not deserve the tip which was automatically applied to the bill instead of offering me some concession she told me I wish you had come and talk to me before you paid the tab. I eat out every Friday and Saturday night and I hardly ever give a review so for me to do this means- that I am deeply disappointed in service and would not recommend it to anyone. I see this very often for restaurants who put so much work into the food and the ambience, but do little to train their staff. This is the barrier to becoming a great restaurant!
