Welcome to The Break Bar, at Beach House, North Cornwall's laid back venue on the beach, overlooking Widemouth Bay. Listed in the top 20 beachside bars & restaurants in the UK (The Times) Beach House has private access onto the beach from the bottom of the beach bar garden. Passionate about using the finest in local produce combined with global flavours, seafood, soul food & sunsets are our forte. Pop by for a sunset cocktail & bar snacks or book for dinner, a seafood feast or roast on the coast. Family & dog friendly. Independent house ran by a local family. Good food, tunes, booze & views in a laid back chilled beach setting.

Open all year- round & not just a place for summer, Beach House offers a cosy, colourful, winter escape to watch the wild ocean with boardgames, books & beers on a grey day or celebrate Christmas on the coast at North Cornwall's winter hideaway. There is a bus stop at Beach House, however although you 'may' be able to get here if you have an early table, there are no buses in the evenings during peak dinner time, so local taxis recommended & we advise booking in advance in peak time & on the weekends. Alternatively there are some stunning coast and countryside paths to Beach House from Bude & the surrounding area for a sunset walk home in the lighter summer nights.

Had Sunday lunch at the Beach . Good table by a window great view. Lunch was good nice chilled atmosphere no time pressure .

The quality of the food was excellent, staff were courteous and relatively attentive, It did however take a long time from ordering the dessert to actually receiving them. Apart from that it was well worth the visit

I have dined at the Beach House on many occasions and have always had wonderful service, friendliness and amazing food. This visit was no exception, our meals were outstanding and we had a super night. Thank yo very much Beach House.

Great seafood and Asian dishes. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Unbeatable location. Have a drink with your toes in the sand.

Wow! We had such a great time. The ambience was perfect - as was the music - and the staff were lovely. The food was amazing. I usually go for the vegetarian option on the rare occasions I eat out, and I would never usually choose fish. I’m so glad I decided to go out of my comfort zone with the fish stew - a pot of spicy yumminess containing catch of the day and shell fish, in a delicious fennel and orange sauce. There was also warm sourdough for dunking and mopping up every last morsel. Two of us had the stew, one had venison and the other had pad Thai - they all agreed their meals were equally delicious. We all wished we’d had room for pudding. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch with friends in a very relaxed and friendly environment. The service was fantastic and they couldn't do more to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be going again soon!! Thank you Beach House
