    Not a bad lunch but grossly overpriced. Very disappointing. £438 for 3, no wine.

    Myself and 3 friends have a very enjoyable evening on Saturday. The reason I chose The Brasserie was that it had both vegetarian and gluten free options which we needed. Unfortunately there were no gluten free buns available for the burger and also no gluten free brownie. We all felt this was very disappointing and my friend who suffers from coeliac disease only had the starter she wanted available to her. It definitely was not gluten free friendly on Saturday night

    Lovely service and good roast. Cauliflower cheese in particular and veggies are SO good.

    The food had a silly amount of Chilly in it so much that my wife could not eat her lunch they offered a desert free but that was not the point the linch was spoilt. They also forgot to take off the £20 deposit paid on booking off the bill untill asked

    Lunch for 2. Excellent location, comfortable and welcoming environment, tables nicely spaced, well thought-out menu and specials, good cooking, portions and presentation on the plate, decent wine list at sensible prices, charming staff, not rushed although we lingered until gone 5pm, overall a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. Value for money and highly recommended.

    The food we had was exceptional! Beautifully cooked and presented nicely. The restaurant itself is just lovely! The staff were also very pleasant. You really couldn’t fault anything.

    Good food and wine and reasonable prices. Service friendly and mainly good, but the odd hiccup or two but quickly and pleasantly resolved.

    Not the experience we were hoping for. Staff were quite uninterested in their customers. No welcome and given wrong menus to start with. No one checked if everything was ok when the food was delivered to the table. No hand cream in the dispensers in the bathrooms. Food was very tasty and lovely calm atmosphere.

    I was looking forward to dining here as it had great reviews. The food was lovely and the service quite good. Unfortunately, there was a private party in an adjoining room which had no solid dividing wall between that room and the main dining room. The noise was horrendous and it was almost impossible to hear each other talk. This completely spoilt the dining experience. If I were to book again I would ask if there was a party or event in the adjoining room before confirming.

    Great food and lovely staff but ambience was a little dead and they have fake flowers on the tables ( pet hate). Definitely worth going for a Sunday lunch!
