The Bower Manly is a locally owned and operated business, with a passionate Northern Beaches based crew. We had always wanted to open a restaurant, but never imagined we’d find one in such a perfect location. Our key focus is providing good quality food using the freshest produce, and friendly staff to compliment the stunning yet relaxed setting of Cabbage Tree Bay. The menu changes on a regular basis, to reflect seasonal produce using both local and organic growers wherever possible - serving up coastal cool alfresco vibes. The Bower is a local's favourite, serving up some of the best coffee in Manly with arguably the best view of Shelly Beach. Join us for brekky, brunch, lunch or cocktails, seven days a week, or grab takeaway on your way down to the beach. We have several tables outside making it the perfect spot to take in the fresh ocean air and watch the world go by.

What a magical spot. Hidden in the backstreets of Manly East and with a view to literally kill for, this little spot is such a refreshing gem to sit and escape. I had the Bower Burger which was perfect (quite huge actually) with crispy chips and cooked to perfection. My friend had fish & chips which was the 2nd time he'd ordered that there and reported that it was absolutely delicious. The menu is small but very well done. Coffee is excellent too. We enjoyed some wines which were chilled and promptly served. The staff were mostly from the UK and were super friendly. It's such a great place to sit and watch the world go by (and a few whales & dolphins if you're lucky too). I've had breakfast here too on a few occasions and that was superb as well. They do sunset drinks over the summer period and it's well worth the visit on a nice evening.

Love this restaurant. There was some roadworks happening which was a little sad but overall this cafe s location is incredible and the food always a high standard and staff are friendly. Will book again.

A small but good menu with a daily special added. Friendly, prompt service. A casual, relaxed place with good food and a beautiful location.

Beautiful location, lovely staff, delicious food. The only downside was the very small kids milkshakes.

Nice food, however there was about a 10-15 minute wait between our 2 meals coming out which wasn't great. Amazing location

I love this location It’s a great space for a restaurant. And I had been there before years ago under a different management. The team were great, although the manager/owner was yelling obscenities from his counter- more at himself I think than anyone in particular. It’s just a shame that the food was quite ‘ho-hum’. I walked away wondering if I would ever go back. Such a shame.

even with the kaos of mother’s day service was quick food was excellent we couldn’t be happier . make sure u book to guarantee seating . glad we did .

Fantastic view, great spot. However disappointing service. It was a birthday of a friend, we booked a table of 8, everyone ordered a meal and a coffee. We brought a home made cake as a friend is gluten free. We shared the cake with a napkin. The staff came and told us off disrespectfully, they needed to charge $5 per person. They didnt end up charging as we almost finished our piece at that stage, and we didnt need a plate. Whats the point of ruining everyone’s day? I understand their perspective however the approach was very impersonal and slightly rude. Could have been approached in a more respectful and friendly way. Very disappointing.

Excellent Location for a Breakfast, Lunch or Cocktail experience, right on the ocean in a setting reminiscent of the Med! Generous Servings of Brasserie style favourites.. We loved the Benedict and the Chicken Burger with Roasted Pineapple and Hot sauce to die for. Cocktails were a pleasant surprise ... Bloody Mary and Spicy Margarita " El Hefe " were on point... Thanks
