From the time we arrived, the reception was very warm and helpful. Anna, was very courteous and helpful explaining the history of the hotel making our afternoon tea interesting as well as delicious. Scones kept warm with refills of tea. Beautiful hotel, designed with high specification and sensitivity to the original character. Xxx

The afternoon tea was delicious with a good variety of food and cakes. The handmade sausage roll was excellent. Good atmosphere and service. Would recommend.

The building is amazing. The tea room is gorgeous. The staffs are very well trained and mannered. The food is fantastic, from presentation and flavour. We will be back to explore more .

Traditional afternoon tea in the Botanical tearoom did not disappoint! Really special experience that was booked for my daughter’s birthday. We ordered one meat and one vegetarian afternoon tea. Food was very tasty and the presentation, outstanding. The service was efficient, friendly and professional. The price was fair for the quality of the food, setting, and afternoon tea experience. We would definitely recommend!
