I have been going to this restaurant for years and this is a terrible experience. There was only one bartender for the entire restaurant and one waitress. The waitress that waited on us appeared to be upset and angry because she was having to wait on us. Our waitress was surly and it took us forever to get our food. And the food was mediocre at best. We ordered a Ramon gin fizz and it took over 30 minutes to get the drink. There is no music that night so atmosphere was pretty poor as well. I am very disappointed in this restaurant because it used to be such a great place. Also it was my wife’s birthday and no mention of her birthday or special occasion was mentioned. In fact, when we entered the restaurant. There was no one there to seat us. We just had to go pick a table and sit down We ordered a Ramon gin fizz and it took over 30 minutes to get the drink.

Packed for Happy Hour (try the Bkackberry Bramble)! 7:05 and the place emptied out. Fish tacos were amazing, croquettes my hubby had were decent. My shrimp and grits were perfectly cooked shrimp with “grits” that were more like rice. Overall 5 stars for drinks and HH-3 for my meal (and that’s being gracious) and 4 stars for everyone else’s.

While the live music was enjoyable, the overall experience at The Bombay Club was disappointing. The restaurant was severely understaffed, with only one server handling all the tables, resulting in poor service. The food was subpar—our shrimp was overcooked and tough. Despite the live music, there were only three tables occupied, and it was clear why. The server was rarely available, and the manager, who seated us, seemed to vanish afterward. Unfortunately, this experience left us with no desire to return.

Reservation at 8 p.m. High Top for of 5. When they saw we had 3 small children, they accommodated our party with comfortable booth seating and privacy curtain. The little ones were very comfortable. We enjoyed the courtyard and the live music. We ordered Shirley Temples, Bombay chips with truffle and Parmesan, kid’s chicken strips, shrimp and grits and boudin fritters.

We expected a lot more when we made the reservation. The place seemed run down and the first turn off was the bartender coughing into his bar cloth. Then when the food came the naan-Chos were just one piece of naan sliced with a bit of sauce and a brown half an avocado on top. The garlic fries were just shoestring fries with 3 odd sauces. We paid way more than this meal was worth. This was our most disappointing meal of our trip.

We went during Happy Hour and the service, drinks and food did not disappoint! A must when you are in NOLA. Close to Bourbon st without the Bourbon st fair and noise.
