                    Great service from Chester and super ambiance! I had the scallops and they were great. Small portions so order an appetizer.

                    My son took me to the Grand Bohemian for thanksgiving dinner. We live across from Lake Eola so it was convenient. Our reservation was at 6:30. the appetizers of squash soup and salad were good. No rolls and butter, turkey dinner was lukewarm turkey breast, maybe a tablespoon of gravy, lukewarm stuffing, 6 green beans, no mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes, no apple pie or pumpkin pie, desserts of torte and mouse were mediaocre. ice tea and diet coke were extra. our bill with tip was $236. We could have gone to the IHop and had a better meal. worst thanksgiving dinner of my life and not the quality we have experienced in the past at the Grand Bohemian.

                    Give you 3 out of 5 stars. The variety was fair. The deserts were not good at all. Several patrons requested pumpkin pie and there was none. Carving station good, seafood - crab legs excellent - shrimp ok a little under cooked, crepes excellent. The asparagus and carrots were dried up - cheese was ok - Attended Thanksgiving several years ago in another room and the spread was larger and well displayed. The service was good not great - we had used plates on the table the entire time we were there. I was having to stack plates and put to the sides to clear the area. For $99 a head it was not worth it. I will be attending another Hotel Thanksgiving buffet next year. Was so looking forward to the Boehme this year for Thanksgiving as we had such a wonderful time a few years ago.

                    We have dined at the Grand Bohemian before. They have changed brunch from self service to some offerings (soup, crab legs, shrimp. Oysters, chix and wfls)coming from the kitchen. It was a clunky process. While the buffet was lovely, my husband's oysters and son's waffles took forever. My husband's second set of oysters arrived after he had dessert. He thought they had forgotten. The property is lovely. Nice place to dine, but be fully informed about brunch. BEST PART! They had a pianist and percussionist playing....they were outstanding.

                    Our Thanksgiving celebration was NOT the best! Although the atmosphere overall was lovely - our table against a black wall (when we asked for a window table) was not great! Best part --Our server was perfect! Very attentive! BUT the food was not what we expected! Too much breakfast food, poor variety, chewy shrimp, very dry turkey and desert -- messy pie that people were digging into with a spoon!!

                    Food and service was excellent! The dining room was visually very appealing. While we found excellent offerings for appetizers, entrees, and deserts the menu was somewhat limited.
