    Fabulous! Food was amazing!! Service was great . We were retreated like royalty We visit from Massachusetts once a year and have never been disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

    Understandably a learning environment. Our 3 course dinner took about 3.5 hrs. Communication between staff seemed lacking and their supervision seemed absent. 4 of 6 received their dessert and then we had to wait 20-25 min for the table side dessert to be presented to the other 2 in our party without explanation or apology. Coffee was offered after all the dessert dishes were cleared. The food was excellent and well enjoyed and the highlight of the night.

    Dining at The Culinary Institute of America is always an amazing experience. An awe-inspiring campus overlooking the beautiful Hudson River, topped off by a delightful meal, prepared and served by a dedicated staff of culinary students. Kudos all around. Bravo!

    It is always a joy to dine under the care of "the new class." Not only is the food always delectable, but it's inspiring to meet some of the people who will be the new names in the food industry. The three-course seasonal meal with menu choices (and their spices) was a fabulous way to welcome autumn.

    The food presentation and taste was extraordinary. The service really diminished our experience. We weren’t greeted or given water for30 min after seating. Due to a VIP table next to us all the resources were used to open his 6 bottles of wine that he brought in and to cater to his every flinch. I hope he’s a big donor!

    Food, delicious as always. Particularly bad service with new students serving and lackluster oversight by what we assumed was faculty. No drinks arrived after long waits, silverware was taken, then reemerged. Dishes were served with no explanation or just quiet mumbling. Coffee order towards the end never fulfilled. A very mechanic and impersonal dealing with student staff needs polishing and better training.

    Overall, we enjoyed our lunch. The student servers were sincere and tried hard to make our meal enjoyable. However, the first course Tartiflette, which is basically potatoes au gratin, was very undercooked. The potatoes were crunchy and very hard. Apparently, that is how they're supposed to be. Seriously?? Who enjoys eating crunchy potatoes? We were allowed to choose another dish, which was good. The Angus Strip Loin was tasty, and the marjolaine dessert was excellent. The table right next to the entrance corridor, alongside the half wall, in front of the wine display glass, is not a great spot. When you make your reservation, ask not to be seated there.
