   FOOD IS AVERAGE AT BEST. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED AND THEY EVEN CHARGE YOU FOR WATER!!! HECK YOU WOULD THINK AFTER PAYING A COUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS FOR AVERAGE FOOD THEY WOULD GIVE THE WATER FOR FREE.... WE ALL ORDERED DIFFERENT THINGS TO SHARE, SO WE MANAGED TO GET A FAIR GRASP ON THE FOOD. THINGS LIKE BURGERS, PORK RIBS, FISH AN CHIPS, CHICKEN SKEWERS AND SEAFOOD PLATTER. SEA FOOD PLATTER WAS REALLY GOOD, AND PROBABLY BEST SHARED AMONGST 3 TO 4 PEOPLE. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS MUCH TO TALK ABOUT. IT WAS A BIT ANNOYING WHEN THEY RAISED THE ROLLERS VIA THE OUTDOOR DECKING AS THE SUN WAS QUITE HARSH. WE WOULD'VE PREFERRED THE SHUTTERS SLIGHTLY LOWERED. GO FOR THE EXPERIENCE, STAY FOR THE AMBIANCE, BUT DEFINITELY NOT WORTH GOING BACK.

   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went to The Boatshed La Perouse today to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and as always, John made the experience absolutely wonderful. John’s warm smile, professional manner, and genuine kindness never fail to make us feel welcome. Today, he went above and beyond, wishing my wife a heartfelt happy birthday and making her feel truly special. It’s always a pleasure being served by John—he’s the reason we keep coming back. Thank you, John, for making today extra memorable!

   Food was outstanding and well presented. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Tables were cleared quickly and made ready for next customers.

   A bit strange that they don’t have coasters (every time I had a sip of my drink, I dripped water on myself or the table). Also we shared a seafood platter, a finger bowl would have been good. Staff, ambience & food were fabulous.

   Very poor service. Waiting staff wouldn’t even look at us every time we wanted to order had to look for them ask them to come over. Young blonde lady rude from the time we walked instead of saying “hello how are you?” or whatever gave us a mean look and asked if we had bookings which we had obviously. I’ve been to the Boatshed several times and to be completely honest I felt very disappointed and like not going back there since this last experience

   seafood was fabulous but ordered sirloin steak as well, unfortunately the chef has no idea what "medium" is as the steak was served "RARE" , not even medium rare which would have been ok, this meat was sliced as part of the presentation of the dish, so the chef fully knew it was rare yet served it anyway?

    The views are always immaculate and seafood is always fire. Definitely our fave spot to brunch. Do recommend!
