Please note, guest request are not guaranteed. You can request to be seated on the terrace, but it's not guaranteed as these tables are open to the elements. On a sunny day, tables are allocated outside based on the date the booking was made (early birds!) We will do our upmost to accommodate you outside if we can. Please call us on the day to see where you will be seated as special requests are not guaranteed. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.

The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from.
The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

A really lovely experience. We went on valentines day and the place was decorated wonderfully. The ambience was perfect and I'd love to go back.

We went for a birthday dinner, the service was poor. The waitress choice to stand at one end of a 7 seat table and take orders for drinks, which she got wrong. They then disregarded the request that we had a gluten and dairy free person in the group and served gluten and dairy in the starter. The waitress was rude and took the menu away before we had even finished ordering. They offered up no solutions to what could be ordered for someone with allergies. I have previously been here but will not go again

Visited with my family on trip to Windsor. Hadn't been before and requested a table in The Conservatory by the window by email. It was quite a bustling Saturday lunchtime but the table was reserved as requested. The quality of the food was 5 star, we had the halibut and shoulder of pork and shared a Eton Mess for dessert. Great setting by the river, friendly waiters. Would happily recommend.

What a great pub and restaurant. The food was of a very high standard. Attentive friendly staff and the food delivery was good. Great ambience and lovely table in the conservatory. Would highly recommend !
