** From 1st October the marina car park will be available for Boathouse guests! ** The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant is a stunning restaurant and bar, overlooking the shores of Lake Windermere, providing a picturesque environment for dining. Serving fresh, original, everyday eating on the shores of Lake Windermere, the menu includes traditional British favorite's. Enjoy a coffee, light lunch or something a little more substantial as you unwind with a drink overlooking the boats on Windermere Marina. Why not join us for simply great fresh food and fine wine in a contemporary, relaxed and informal setting.

The restaurant is open Thursday - Monday from 9am serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Tuesday & Wednesday from 11am serving lunch and dinner.

Parking - Ferry Nab car park is only across the road.

Any bookings over 10 please contact us directly online or by phone and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Fantastic place for a bite to eat watching the boats. Great service extremely helpful. Please could you offer wet wipes with the chicken wings! Lol. They were amazing aling with the king prawns. Will definitley come again.

In a tourist town, where traffic is notoriously bad, we couldn’t find the carpark and were 14 minutes late for our reservation. I explained to the waitress who talked to someone else who just shrugged his shoulders. The waitress said, “ she did apologise” . I’m assuming this means if I hadn’t used my manners I would’ve been punished further. I was shown to a dirty table in the passageway and then ignored so we left

Booked in advance, restaurant not busy, waited a while to order food, even longer for food to arrive, limited choice on menu, don’t do pizzas except weekends Waited so long for option of desert we gave up, no atmosphere in restaurant, food and service nothing to get excited about . So many other options in town

Despite booking well in advance there was no table pre-allocated for us, so we ended up cramped up in a corner. One waitress was cheerful and attentive, the other clearly didn't want to be there. The food was very good but perhaps a little over-priced. All in all an enjoyable meal.

Food was exceptional, staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Honestly a little gem and we will be back!

Food was amazing 10/10! I got the mussels for starter very fast service and the beef brisket for main was immaculate. Couldn’t fault the resteraunt very clean and dog friendly. Great ambiance food was reasonably priced and staff were kind and welcoming.

Great food excellent quality and the battered fish portion was amazing, home made chips, also a bonus, the food is always well prepared never had a bad meal yet

Me and my family had a fantastic time here yesterday for a birthday lunch. The food was exceptionally good and the service was relaxed but efficient. They were great with our dogs too.
