    Our patio tables closest to the water are some of the most coveted seats in town, with the chance to take in an expansive view while enjoying selections from our menu of contemporary seafood classics. Traditionally we have not guaranteed seating, but now through OpenTable Experiences, we are able to reserve a few of them each night. The $5/pp fee guarantees seating at one of these tables. Reservation fee is non-refundable. If there is inclement weather your reservation fee is transferable to another available date.

    Get your wish list ready: our favorite holiday tradition returns to The Boathouse at Sunday Park! Santa will be coming to town and available all brunch for family photos. Due to popular demand, we are now offering Brunch with Santa on select Saturdays, in addition to Sundays, across the month of December. Brunch with Santa will feature a full buffet of classic and updated brunch favorites to go with Rudolph's Milk & Cookie Bar at 49.95$ for adults and 26.95$ for kids. We hope you will join us for the most festive celebration of the season!

    food was ok the truffle fries had no truffle just fake truffle oil and no parmesan just garlic. mashed potatoes were seperating and almost liquidy. salmon was extremely over cooked. foccacia was tough and chewy. mac and cheese had barely any flavor just tasted like a lightly seasoned bechamel. i expected alot more this restaurant was better years ago but the quality has gone down theres alot of improvement needed for a highly rated and respected restaurant in virginia

    It had been over two years since I had eaten at this restaurant and after trying it again, I remembered why I had taken it off of my list of preferred restaurants. As always, the location is lovely and sitting outside on a beautiful early fall evening was everything we had hoped to experience. Sadly, the food was lacking. We had come early to take advantage of Happy Hour. I hadn’t realized that this was only available while sitting at the bar, so one of my party kindly ordered a dozen fried oysters there and brought them to our table. This was shared by two of my party of five. Their reaction: 5 out of 10. Tasted as though there was no salt and pepper, and accompanied by a mere smear of sauce. Two of us ordered the fish and chips, which we found to be very dry, overcooked and under seasoned. The margarita pizza was fine, and the blueberry and arugula salad topped with chicken was very good. Given the prices for this food quality, I will sadly be removing Boathouse from my restaurant list.

    Views at the venue were lovely! Calamari and salad were excellent, the halibut and salmon were good but probably not the best value, would come back again for happy hour prices and the beautiful setting!

    The two people who ordered the Fish and Chips said they would not do so again. The crab cake sandwich and the lemon lavender chicken were greatly enjoyed. Our server, Savannah, was great. Just the right amount of attention. Thanks!

    Service was excellent, a little pricey, was a wonderful evening, but they need outdoor heaters for this weather.

    I called and called to confirm outside seating with no answer. I did leave info to confirm waterside seating. very disappointing.

    Our server, Jacob, was awesome! He saved our entire experience. It seemed there had been a mixup and the female server we were told would be right over, never came. Jacob, clearly already hustling, took over our table and was so friendly and so attentive that we quickly forgot about our initial long wait. Give that man a promotion! He was beyond wonderful.

    The area, food, service was magnificent, we really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. One of the best places that we have ate for a while. We will make this restaurant one of our favorite places and we will return. If you decide to eat here you will not regret it, definitely a 5 star.
