Traditionally we have not guaranteed seating, but now through OpenTable Experiences, we are able to set aside a few of our best tables each night. The $5/pp fee reserves seating at one of these tables. Reservation fee is non-refundable.

    It was our anniversary and we got a hand made card signed by all the staff. I was impressed.

    The Boathouse in drydock is very much on a par with the one in downtown Richmond, but with no parking issues. It is cleverly designed so the windows can be rolled up and part of the area is then open to the outside, with a pleasant breeze. The food is also excellent and it was a relief to be able to enjoy it and be able to talk to the people in my party without having to shout or strain to hear. Waitress was attentive but not intrusive, the only issue we had was that inspite of good directions, it was somehow easy to overlook, and it took some of us several drives around the lot to find it. There is something about the way the name of the place is written horizontally and in rather thin letters, that allows the driver's eye to ignore it. Best to say it is located right next to the Baker's Crust--but that is not a good way to present your business! We will be back with more of our friends and hope that not TOO many others discover it so that there won't be an issue in getting reservations. Welcome to Short Pump, and thank you for coming there. I hope it will be a long and enjoyable relationship with many West-Enders.

    Overall a lovely experience. Our server Tanner was attentive and welcoming. Started with some Oysters, Brussels Sprouts and Calamari - everything was great and tasty. For the meals it was a couple crab cake sandwiches, a Grain Bowl w/ crab cake, a Burger, a Salmon dish and a Hot Chicken sandwich. The only negative was the chicken as it seemed to be a little dried out. Everything else was top notch and always a go to for my family.

    The restaurant itself is very nice. The service we received from Lucy was top notch. We were disappointed in the menu selections due to a brunch menu being offered instead of a regular menu with more seafood options. My wife had the avocado toast which she enjoyed. I had the sausage and gravy over a biscuit. It was luke warm in temperature. It lacked flavor. I would recommend to take off the menu. We have ate here a couple of times before and enjoyed it. That’s why we retuned. But this visit left something to be desired.

    The food was very good cooked to perfection. The portions for the price were not in balance. I will probably never step foot in your establishment again.
