    Tucked behind frosted glass doors, and accommodating parties up to 10 beneath an impressive chandelier, our Owner’s Table offers the private dining feel your group has been looking for. Traditionally we have not guaranteed seating, but now through OpenTable Experiences, we are able to set aside a few of our best tables each night. The $5/pp fee reserves seating at one of these tables. Reservation fee is non-refundable.

    It took way too long for our food when the restaurant was not busy at all. Also there were a lot of flies swarming our table. Waitress was attentive and the food was decent.

    We had a Great experience at the Boathouse. The food, drinks and atmosphere was fantastic. Our waiter Tanner was Wonderful with his food and drink suggestions.

    Steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare, though more seasoning would up the flavor. Focaccia was excellent. Enjoyed the atmosphere, but restaurant was very loud and we had trouble hearing others at our table. Hayley gave us the perfect pace of the evening.

    Appetizers and ambiance were amazing. However the service and main course could’ve been better. All in all it’s a great restaurant.

    It was a wonderful time! I/we are so thankful for management to allow us to use the private room to celebrate my mom. Our server was excellent and very personable and was so polite and exciting. We have already told all of our family to come to the Short Pump Boathouse for great food and great service!!

    I ordered roasted clams and roasted brussel sprouts. The sprouts were good but they do not cut off the top part which is a turn off for me. My friend and I tasted the clams. If they were roasted, did not appear so and flavor not so great. Also had calamari, very rubbery. I’ve heard great reviews about the boathouse and will try something different next time.

    Wonderful experience for my mom’s birthday! Small portions but the food was delicious and our server was great!

    I had high hopes for The Boathouse, but it fell short of my expectations. Upon entering, I was immediately put off by a strange smell. Although the ambiance was pleasant, the prices did not match the quality or portions of the food. The service was disappointing. Our waitress was difficult to hear and repeatedly emphasized the no-substitutions policy, though she did offer to charge extra for a side. She even tried to take my plate while I was still eating, which was confusing, and she combined all three of our checks into one without asking. My orange crush cocktail was mostly ice and tasted watered down, and the crab cake had more filler than I anticipated. However, I did enjoy the freshly made chips. I don't see myself coming back or recommending it to others. The Boathouse fell flat in my opinion, and that's disappointing.

    Service was slow. Food was good, not exceptional. Noise level was high due to large table of guests next to us.

    It was our anniversary and we got a hand made card signed by all the staff. I was impressed.
