Bringing waterfront dining back to Hopewell! The Boathouse at City Point with a sweeping vista of the Appomattox and James rivers features high-end interior design elements, private dining for large groups, patio dining and an outdoor bar. The Boathouse at City Point will offer a similar menu to other locations of The Boathouse, featuring coastal elements and a number of locally sourced ingredients.

    Our patio tables are some of the most coveted seats in town, with the chance to take in an expansive waterfront view while enjoying selections from our menu of contemporary seafood classics. Traditionally we have not guaranteed seating, but now through OpenTable Experiences, we are able to set aside a few of our best tables each night. The $5/pp fee reserves seating at one of these tables. In the event of inclement weather, your reservation fee is transferable to another available date. Reservation fee is non-refundable.

                                            Brunch at The Boathouse was delicious! Always wonderful food, attentive and friendly servers, beautiful and comfortable seating and atmosphere too! Good friends there today for first time and they loved it too! Thank you!

                                            A very enjoyable experience. The environment is very nice and there is a view of the water from both inside and outside seating. The food was very tasty and well presented. Our waiter was excellent. Overall, we had a great lunch experience and the cost was very reasonable for the food quality, service, ambience.

                                            We have always enjoyed our visits to the Boathouse, but this recent visit was not good. Our server needed training - she did not bring the few items we asked for (a glass, utensils, sauce), and she made no effort to be accommodating or friendly. The flies were everywhere, and we saw no obvious attempt at controlling them. The manager was very apologetic about the service and comped our appetizer. We ordered a $45 seafood combo thinking it would be enough for two, but the portion was minimal. Not our best experience there - poor service, flies, short-changed on the food.

                                            This our favorite of the Boathouse restaurants. It is not as large and the dining room is very attractive. A beautiful view, great food and we had Mel as our terrific wait person. We love the crab cakes! The Creme Brûlée was perfect.

                                            The view is beautiful even indoors. The staff are friendly, precise and knowledgeable. The food took awhile to arrive but was hot and delicious. The drinks are great as well
