Situated on our very own island, we’re very fortunate to benefit from Maidenhead’s finest al fresco dining and drinking spot, where everyone is welcome.

Eat, drink and indulge, from classic gastropub favourites to modern, healthy dishes – and weekend blow-outs from our chefs’ specials that make an occasion memorable.

True hospitality is about making you feel you’re at home away from home. We cherish our regulars, but are just as welcoming to first time visitors, so if this is your local, don’t be shy in recommending us to your friends. We’ll give them a peachy welcome too!

From a decent flat white, to a great value lunch, an indulgent treat to a well-made cocktail, there’s always a reason to visit.

A lovely location, staff very friendly and attentive , food Took awhile to arrive and when it did it was slightly cold and average for the price .

Can’t claim this is our first time at the wonderful Boathouse and it’s always been great however this time was exceptional. We got held up on the river and almost missed the kitchen but the team were great and served our son who legged it there so bunch wasn’t missed. And as always it was excellent. Amazing setting, great food and as I said, exceptional service. See you again soon and thanks for saving brunch!

Great location and food and service, the only issue we had was a dirty carafe of water and wobbly tables on the terrace

Usual great food. Was a little disappointed that we had been moved away from the river given I specifically asked for it as it was a special birthday occasion.

My fish pie had some sort a powdery topping on it that made me cough a lot. I don’t know what it was. The fish filling was lovely though. Good atmosphere & our waitress was absolutely lovely.

Slow service - took 25 minutes for food orders to be taken, then 45 minutes to be served. Food taste and quality was good, however the £50 lobster was shockingly small, approx 1/3rd the size of those I’ve had at other local restaurants at similar price. The ambience was excellent If this hadn’t been a family birthday celebration, we would have walked out.

I went to Boulters Lock with a friend last night for a meal. It's a great location, especially for a summer evening. Staff were charming and very accommodating with where we sat. The place was nicely buzzing (for a Monday evening) and the food was very good.

Perfect roast beef dinner, lovely view down the Thames. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
