Situated on our very own island, we’re very fortunate to benefit from Maidenhead’s finest al fresco dining and drinking spot, where everyone is welcome.

Eat, drink and indulge, from classic gastropub favourites to modern, healthy dishes – and weekend blow-outs from our chefs’ specials that make an occasion memorable.

True hospitality is about making you feel you’re at home away from home. We cherish our regulars, but are just as welcoming to first time visitors, so if this is your local, don’t be shy in recommending us to your friends. We’ll give them a peachy welcome too!

From a decent flat white, to a great value lunch, an indulgent treat to a well-made cocktail, there’s always a reason to visit.

We had lunch at The Boathouse. Staff were friendly and helpful. However the service was VERY slow. We arrived at our table at 12.45 and our starter came at 1.45. It was a similar wait for the main course. Apparently the table was for two hours. That wouldn’t have given us time to have our main course!!! Food was very good when it did arrive.

Tasty food, delicious drinks, and fabulous views from the rooftop over Boulters lock. We loved it and will return.

Lovely venue, had a great table on the terrace overlooking the water. We had the Sunday roast, it was delicious. The only drawback was that the crackling was soft instead of crisp. Fantastic service, will be back.

Service was very good, drinks arrived quickly. Wine ordered was off due to being a old bottle so asked for a fresh glass and they opened a new bottle which tasted perfect. Very helpful sorting it out. Prawn cocktail for starter was amazing and the roast beef for main was lovely. You decided if you want it pink or well done which was a nice addition you don’t normally get! Will be coming back!

The atmosphere is great! Food is always very good and prices not too bad. Service although always well meaning is usually slow and sporadic. Today was extreme with an hour wait for everything!…

Fabulous location and lots of room with different vibes depending on what you want. Service was great- very friendly and attentive staff.

Beautiful little spot for breakfast or brunch! Their coffee is generously served in cozy mugs with a stunning view of the river. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced! But service is what really has made this place a Friday usual for a girls brunch for us. Looking forward to being back again soon
