Really enjoyed Sunday lunch here. Carvery and dessert. Staff were friendly and inside was very unexpected, don’t judge from the exterior of this pub. Will be back!

Quality and variety of food is great - lots of traditional veg for our roast dinner. Yorkshire pudding very nice. Roast spuds were great too. Seconds of veg available for no extra price. Sticky toffee pudding with the perfect amount of custard - plenty to pour over. Only thing that could be improved is overall temperature of the main course.

A varied menu that suited everyone in our group. Staff were attentive, polite and the food was well presented. A lovely experience and good value for money.

After reading the reviews we thought this would be a good shout to try. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The staff were nice but I feel need a bit of extra training to be able to cope with the influx of Sunday diners. This is not their fault by any means! There was a dog inside the place constantly barking with the owner or staff not doing anything about it which was annoying. But the main problem was the food. I’m so sorry to say this but seeing as the reviews were saying this was an exceptional place, it was very disappointing to have a Sunday roast which had meat that was over cooked and dry on the beef and turkey that I had, roast potatoes that must of been fried and they were burnt on the flat sides, parsnips with no flavour, veg that was overcooked making the broccoli mushy and the green beans dry and hard, Yorkshire puds that looked good but definitely not crispy. Oh and I asked for English mustard and was given these little packets made by lichfields and it tasted like hotdog mustard! Sorry to say but this will be our first and last time here. I might of made a polite complaint to the staff but it took nearly 10mins of being ignored whilst standing at the till waiting to pay.

Food was nice, but roast potatoes are frozen potatoes so quality just ok, cant fault the rest of the meal, staff are great.

The dining area was way too hot. There were no fans, it was really uncomfortable. I asked to be moved table to one near an open window to be advised I couldn't as the computer had allocated me the table I was at. I asked to sit outside and was informed the outside seating area was not open. The food was lovely, really good value for money.

What a little gem on the side of the river medway. Lovely view over the medway. Clean and the service was first class. There was four of us and each had a different meal and we can honestly say the food was fantastic. Definitely will be going back and I would highly recommend it.
