The Boat House is Kent’s premier Restaurant, Wedding and Entertainment venue. Winning open table's Diners' Choice award both 2021 and 2022. From wedding receptions, birthday parties and conferences through to shows and parties! The show lounge has a stage area, private bar, adjustable room colour and lighting and a private outside area to create a unique experience for you and your guests. With a large seating capacity and unique catering solutions. We also have a dedicated team that can deal with all your party requirements. With direct access along with plenty of parking the Boat House is a great spot to host a party.

    We had the Sunday carvery, the beef was a little bit well done for my personal preference so I opted for the gammon which was delicious If I am being really picky I would say that the food lacked seasoning in the cooking, I don’t usually add seasoning to my meal at the table but I felt it neede it on this occasion The staff at the carvery were very polite and helpful They kept the food replenished and the counter clean, I have been put off of carveries in the past because customers help themselves and it all gets very messy Our waitress was friendly and very efficient, in fact all the staff were excellent Good value for money

    Thank you to The Boat House team for a lovely meal. A small group of us came, 3 generations of family, to celebrate some birthdays. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly and funny too. The building is bright, well decorated and had a lovely view over to Rochester Castle. The food was great and not overly expensive. Also, there were plenty of veggie and gluten free options. Really lovely spot for pub lunch and we all said that we'd come again.

    Excellent prices. Food very nice. Chips are amazing flavour. The only criticisms I have is that the hot food was served on cold plates and the steak and ale pie was not very crispy pastry although the steak inside was delicious. Great atmosphere, lovely staff.

    Nice pub, restaurant and garden. Plenty of outside space.However, a little more shade or parasols required. The parasols available are far too small, offering little protection from the sun. Varied menu, great food and very reasonable prices. Only let down slightly by a long wait for service most lunchtimes that I have visited. My advice is to go from a one course option. Otherwise, the space between courses can be massive. Don't let my negative comments put you off. It's a great pub, great location, and if you ve never been there before, give it a try.

    Very nice location and environment. Food fairly average and arrived after very long wait. Not particularly good value. Table staff friendly and efficient. Unlikely to return.
