The Boat House is Kent’s premier Restaurant, Wedding and Entertainment venue. Winning open table's Diners' Choice award both 2021 and 2022.     The Boat House restaurant and show lounge is the perfect blank canvas for your event. The show lounge boasts two conjoining spaces which offers the flexibility to host an array of events. From wedding receptions, birthday parties and conferences through to shows and parties! The show lounge has a stage area, private bar, adjustable room colour and lighting and a private outside area to create a unique experience for you and your guests. With a large seating capacity and unique catering solutions. We also have a dedicated team that can deal with all your party requirements. With direct access along with plenty of parking the Boat House is a great spot to host a party.

    We went for the breakfast buffet, it’s not value for money whatsoever, the hot plate was literally still cooking the food, the scrambled egg was grey in colour, the fried eggs we so hard they were like discs. Sausages and bacon and beans and black pudding fine so can’t knock them, the continental part of was a drab affair, no croissants, the pan au chocolate were packaged ones, yoghurt left out and warm overall very disappointing considering there main menu is unreal can’t fault that but the breakfast buffet is not very good and has put me off doing the carvery.

    Excellent staff and location. The Sunday carvery is delicious and plenty of it we had a great experience there.

    Helpful bar staff, served a perfect G&T!! Also, Hubby said it was a good pint of Doombar! The friendly staff, directed us to our table. The restaurant was busy but seated and offered the menu or advised of the Sunday Roast Carvery. At the servery, you can have a XL dinner or standard Large. I opted to try the various meats, Lamb, Beef, Gamon & Turkey. All the Veg were nice and hot, plenty of gravy and sauces if required and overall a lovely Sunday lunch. After our lunch we sat outside by the River Medway for a pint & G&T and we had a really nice couple of hours. The staff were all very friendly even though they were busy. A very positive first experience........we will return. Thanks

    Had the carvery it was really good did think the potatoes were shop bought? But all in all a really good meal

    We’ve eaten here many times and it never fails to impress! They cater for my husband who is a coeliac superbly! Highly recommend

    Our first visit we were not disappointed table was ready food lovely and plenty of it, was the hottest day of the year restaurant was a a bit too warm but the breeze outside from the river was lovely, prompt and friendly service

    Always good food at a reasonable price. No the normal pub grub menu always something different on the menu.
