A warm welcome from our family lead team, a seasonal menu of European and British dishes sourced from fresh seasonal ingredients sits along side a regularly changing specials board. Simon, Tom and the kitchen team are incredibly passionate about their food and offering dishes that you will want to eat.

Always great to drop in on The Boars and even better when it’s for a £12 Tuesday deal! Beef bourguignon followed by Tarte Tatin with a lovely glass of red. The pub was busy - it always is - and is our go to local for a great meal out. Book a table if you can. You won’t regret it!

Overall the experience was good but two of our party felt the bar area where we ate was cold and had to keep their coats on throughout the meal. The food was good the only gripe was the lamb curry which could have been better. The choice of wines were fine and reasonably priced. I went up to the bar to decide what whisky to choose and spotted a Laphroaig presentation box on the shelf only to be told there was no bottle inside so slightly disappointed. The final price for our party of five was very fair.

Really good, pleasantly surprised. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the ingredients and service. Will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely meal. We had a table for eight and nothing was too Much trouble. Our order was taken quickly, despite it being busy and our food came quickly too. The food was delicious. Everybody was so helpful. Great evening out. Thank you very much.

We went for the Sunday Roast and we weren’t disappointed. Excellent meal and really pleasant and attentive staff. Would fully recommend!
