A warm welcome from our family lead team, a seasonal menu of European and British dishes sourced from fresh seasonal ingredients sits along side a regularly changing specials board. Simon, Tom and the kitchen team are incredibly passionate about their food and offering dishes that you will want to eat.

A well chosen range of wines, beers and spirits, sourced from local suppliers offer something for every thirst!

The pub has a great feel with a statement dining room, dog friendly Agricultural Bar and unique and stunning garden for the sunny days. We hope everyone will enjoy their visit to us

Roast dinners were delicious but I’ve desserts were questionable with under cooked crumble and cold Crème Brulee. The main reason for a low score is due to service. The staff are not attentive, got our order wrong several times, seemed annoyed if we asked for anything and over charged us. Staff definitely let the place down!

On arrival we were met with a really warm welcome, the food was excellent and the staff were particularly attentive..

We have always had a great meal here and the service has been lovely. Summer in the garden is fabulous! Good food!

Been four times previously and ate from the main menu or had a Sunday roast. All have been great tasting and enjoyable. Last night's Valentine meal wasn't up to the usual standards across the board.

Have eaten before at the Boars and both food and service usually excellent. However, this time, whilst the majority of the meal was good, the main consisting of steak was very fatty and had to leave most of it. That said every restaurant can have a bad night. We will eat there again… service is always good and love the Pub itself. Great location, lovely ambiance.

The deal is quite good , but the price of the drinks are outrageous, £9.35 for a glass of red wine come on.

We had a really great meal here today. The welcome was brilliant and all interactions with staff were excellent throughout our visit. It was good to see the full menu was available as well as the roasts but we all opted for roasts. The food arrived in good time, it looked very appealing, was hot and delicious. We went on to have desserts which were also excellent. All staff were friendly, attentive and professional. We felt everything was good value and had a really great meal in a lovely setting.

Lovely little find. We had Focaccia with olive oil (normally comes with balsamic vinegar too but they had ran out) for our starter. Lovely fresh focaccia and plenty for the two of us. Sunday Lunch -the roast beef with a side of red cabbage. We chose to have our beef pink and it came perfect. Roast potatoes were lovely and crispy with a giant Yorkshire pudding. Portions were brilliant and you came away more than full. Staff were lovely and helpful without being too much. Parking was scarce but we found a space up the road. All in all a wonderful experience
