   The Boars is always very good but their Sunday roasts are fabulous!. The service was great, everyone was so friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

   It was a great place for Sunday lunch. It was easy to book. The friendly welcome continued throughout the meal, with many members of staff helping serve our needs. The food was excellent. It was busy, with a high noise level, which meant conversation was hampered a bit. The choice of wines by the glass was a bit limited, but none of that detracted from an excellent experience.

   Had the pork balls off the specials as a starter. Devine! Should be on the main menu! Rib of beef also on the specials board was also fantastic. Service was excellent. Absolutely loved it!!

   Very nice experience. Restaurant was very busy but service was good. Lovely buzz in the restaurant albeit quite noisy. Good atmosphere.

   Was recommended to visit by a friend. The chair was full of crumb dirty marks when I arrived table has bits on it so was disappointed with the cleanliness. The servicing staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable on the menu and could don’t smarten up their appearance and at least iron their clothes. This might seem fussy but if front of house standards aren’t great it makes me wonder what the kitchen is like . Can’t fault the food it was all good quality fresh and tasty. Was nice for lunch but wouldn’t go back for a social occasion again.

   Excellent, as always. We had the flat iron chicken with peppercorn sauce and twice cooked chips this time. Delicious.
