A warm welcome from our family lead team, a seasonal menu of European and British dishes sourced from fresh seasonal ingredients sits along side a regularly changing specials board. Simon, Tom and the kitchen team are incredibly passionate about their food and offering dishes that you will want to eat.

A well chosen range of wines, beers and spirits, sourced from local suppliers offer something for every thirst!

The pub has a great feel with a statement dining room, dog friendly Agricultural Bar and unique and stunning garden for the sunny days. We hope everyone will enjoy their visit to us

We went for the Sunday Roast and we weren’t disappointed. Excellent meal and really pleasant and attentive staff. Would fully recommend!

Food was lovely and the atmosphere was nice, however, staff didn’t seem very friendly aside from a lovely blonde girl who served us deserts

Very friendly, we had a lovely Roast with my kids and grandchildren, high chairs were available. Two of us are gluten and dairy intolerant which didn’t phase them at all. They said you choose and we will adapt. And to top it all we had 3 gf,df deserts to choose from, which is extremely rare! They were delicious.The other deserts also looked lovely. All round a great experience.

As always, top quality service, food and a very pleasant atmosphere. A nice touch was the half portions. I loved the food so much I could have eaten 1.5 portions!

Best Sunday Roast ever! Haven't been here for a while, albeit lucky to be local. Friendly welcome and amazing food. One roast beef, two roast lamb and one burger - all meals achieved a rare 10/10! The most yum roast potatoes we'd all eaten out and great to have little jugs of spare gravy! Lovely to have our dog welcome and laying quietly under the table (lovely too to enjoy a large table by the window). Our friends were so impressed...and we'll, for sure, be back soon! Thanks to all @the boars! Alli x

We had a wonderful meal , the staff were attentive and very helpful. The food was amazing and they also served local ale . We will return.
