The Bluebell is a smart, modern place to relax offering fuss-free food and drinks that retain the reputation for quality we’ve hopefully earned at Stones. Dogs are welcome in our outdoor space and bar area. No dogs will be allowed in the restaurant-style extension. Parking Please note we have a car park on-site however it can get very busy and is limited. Please respect the neighbours when parking on-street by not blocking their driveways. Please do not park opposite other cars therefore making the road too narrow to pass. Come and join us at this beautiful old pub very soon. Please note we are closed on Sunday evenings and all day on Mondays.

I would normally score 5s for every category but we were disappointed with the extremely small pannacotta and ice cream scoop,served on a huge square plate, they just looked ridiculous it made them look even smaller than they actually were which was bad enough. Economy drive?! Also and again, still no Picpoul available by the glass, you never have a really dry white by the glass which is a pity.

Great service and fantastic food. Don't be put of by the "Bar" table booking, same level of service and great atmosphere in the cosy but spacious side of the pub. Small kids play area but parking can be tricky with limited car spaces (only around 10) but ample paring road side. All round great experience.

Lovely homely pub/restaurant. Great and friendly service. Nice outdoor space. Very tight small car park. I would have liked the portions to be a little bigger.

Food was very nice , very small portions for the price - And I do attend alot of tasting menu events and this is not a tasting menu but feel it is trying to replicate without actually having advertising as such . I ordered a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and this was just “plonked on the table “ no offer of pouring . Plonked on the table and waitress walked off . I also was not happy with the way the food was bought out and just placed on the table wherever they just saw a space . Which was more or less all in front of my aunt . Poor service overall . I was very disappointed

Had a lovely meal. Unfortunately, we had got stuck in traffic on the way to Derbyshire, so were 20mins late, we therefore weren't allowed starters, as the kitchen was closing. Luckily, the chef agreed we could go straight to mains. The duo of pork was delicious, as was the lamb, both cooked to perfection. The portions aren't big, but they are very rich and flavoursome. The selection of desserts put us in a quandary. We both settled on the banana, rum sticky toffee pudding with homemade ice cream, what can I say divine. The waiting staff were offhand and not very friendly, I presume because we were late, although we did notify them as soon as we realised we would be a little late and pre- ordered our mains. The chef, however, was amazing and even asked how our meal was when he was chatting at the bar after his shift. Was lovely to see someone take such a pride in their food.

The food was excellent and the service very good. The only downside is that in the bar the acoustics are not good and when it’s full you cannot hear yourself speak
