Located in the heart of Cuyahoga Falls, near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Blossom Music Center, The Blue Door Cafe now also offers an elevated but casual dinner service. Showcasing an eighteen foot poured concrete bar, more spacious and comfortable seating and many other nuanced improvements, The Blue Door offers a seasonal and rotating menu featuring charred burgers, house made pastas, hand formed dumplings, air shipped seafoods, and wagyu steaks. The Blue Door proudly sources ingredients from local farms as well as nationally recognized purveyors such as Portland Maine's Browne Trading Company and Ohio's own The Chef's Garden! Dishes with a European and global flair are carefully created and prepared using techniques that draw upon and showcase the skills of our culinary team. Join us for curated whiskeys, bourbons, cocktails, beers and wines, an elegant, clean and ever improving dining room, attentive and friendly service and of course exceptional food!

Fabulous! Although I've been several times for brunch, this was my first dinner visit and it did not disappoint. Love the dinner special menu! Great meal, great service, and always the friendly hello from owner Michael. Definitely putting The Blue Door on my dining rotation list!

We had a perfect early dinner at Blue Door least evening. We celebrated a friend's birthday and were sweetly greeted at the door with owners Michael and his wife Jenn immediately wishing our guest a happy birthday–how great is that. Our dinner was wonderful. We started with a cocktail–both perfectly balanced and one I had never heard of - a classic international martini recipe with champagne vinegar (wow!)...delicious! Our dinner, delicious – and sadly we didn't have room for dessert–but we're going back for that. Thanks Blue Door!

We are for the first time for dinner at the Blue Door and had a wonderful experience. Our server was friendly, food was exceptional, and the overall ambiance was great. We will definitely come back.

We love this place soooo much that we will come for a meal every time we go to Ohio from Pittsburgh . Never get disappointed! We love the service, food and drinks, and their bread, duck and desserts are always on my top menu. Looking forward to our next visit!

One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The cod was perfection. The cocktails were excellent. The service was great. We will be back.

Things started off well and then down hill fast. My $15.00 martini was room temp. Our appetizer (Baguette, Brie, lavender, honey) was delicious. Our server, Aaron, started strong. He was friendly and attentive - at first. For my main I ordered the short rib, which he recommended. It was terrible. The meat was tough with little flavor. I had to ask for a knife (which they don’t offer?) to eat any of it. The accompaniments with it were flavorless except the potato cakes. My husband said the eggplant parm lacked flavor. Our server did not refill our water or ask if I would like another drink. He didn’t check to ask how our food was. When he came to clear he didn’t ask about our meals. I had eaten two bites of my meal and he simply asked if he could wrap it up for me to take home. From that point we didn’t see him again for at least 25-30 minutes. Although he was walking around talking with other patrons. When he stopped by, finally, to ask if we wanted dessert, we ordered the soufflé. Thankfully another server finally refilled our waters. 25 minutes later our soufflé arrived. We had already asked the kind server who delivered us the soufflé for our check, as our server had ignored our table for at least 45 minutes. After we had finished the soufflé and given our credit card to another server we finally saw Aaron. I asked him what had happened to him. He asked what did I mean. I told him we hadn’t seen him all night. He said he stepped outside briefly while they prepared our soufflé. I must make it clear that we were extremely kind to the server all evening - as we always are. This behavior and service baffles me. Lastly, and not really a big deal, I indicated on our reservation that it was our anniversary - which of course it was. We didn’t receive a happy anniversary or anything. It is unusual for an Open Table restaurant. I cannot recommend this place and I am so disappointed by our experience.

I am sorry that I was not present at service this evening and am confident that had I been, this would not have happened. We continually work to train our staff in order that guests have an amazing experience and I am grateful for your feedback.

The eggplant Parmesan was so delicious! Thickly cut, crisply breaded with a marinara sauce that was subtly divine. Nicely paired with a suggested wine offering. It was a very good experience! I’ll be back!
