Appetizers of grilled octopus and fried calamari were delicious! Rib eye was ok. Great service and drinks. Next time we go we’ll try the burgers. Seemed like that kind of restaurant would serve great burgers!

Great Server, Food was good. We enjoyed the oyster's and Crispy Rice Appetizers. My son enjoyed the All you can eat Ribeye which was cooked to order, and I enjoyed the Lamb Ragu Bolognese. The food and service were on point. (Other then the popovers which were not good at all in our opinion). Our only issue was the fact that they asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and I was not aware it would be $8 a bottle of water and that I needed to ask for Tap Water... They should have made it known, I got 4 cokes with free refills but $8 per bottle of water. No thanks. Manager made it right and we appreciated that. Would have preferred to not have had the situation at all. It got quite loud and I don't expect we'll return.

Was our first time on a date here for brunch. Ambience was nice. Order wasn’t quite right and food wasn’t as described on menu. Menu said French toast and caramelized banana?? We were served plantains. Two totally different items. My sunny side up eggs were raw but I didn’t want to complain. Alayna, our server, was very pleasant and caring. But overall rating was given because we were about to be overcharged for our meals until we brought it to our waiters notice. She quickly responded and updated it. Probably won’t come back for brunch. Maybe to try dinner only.

We’ve dined at The Blue Dog three times, and enjoyed a mostly positive experience. This time we wanted to enjoy their”endless ribeye” offering. The steak was well prepared, very tasty and nicely presented. The fries were forgotten, so we had to ask for them. We never received a steak knife, though we did request it. The server never checked back to check on us. Our server was very friendly, and seemed to be a nice young lady. However, her service skills were not at the highest level. I had to flag down what I think was a manager to get a drink refill, and we had to ask for water service by the staff member that delivered our food. We probably will return to The Blue Dog, as we think they have some interesting offerings. I would suggest some service training and more visibility by the management. The experience wasn’t terrible, but certainly was a positive, memorable time.

I don’t know where to start. Wish we knew about this place sooner. The 40 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale was definitely worth it. Who knew Sunday nights were Caribbean nights?!! Live music, with great energy. The ambiance was set from the moment we walked in. The host was very pleasant, our server; Igor was also phenomenal. He answered a few questions we had regarding the cocktails and food items. For starters we had the macaroni balls and chicken dumplings. Our entrees were braised short ribs (literally could cut through it with my fork! so tender) and the surf and turf. We also had passion fruit margaritas with were not too sweet. Made perfectly. We’ll be dining here again hopefully soon. Oh also there is free parking right out front.

Felipe was our server and he was so great! Drinks were awesome and food too. But the music got so loud at 8:30 pm it was very unnecessary, they should have the music get loud after 10:30 pm if anything. Will go back but earlier next time!
