Welcome to The Blue Ball.
A Great British Pub in the heart of the beautiful village of Walton on the Hill, Tadworth serving great locally sourced food and real ales.
Our menu features all your favourite pub classics and legendary Sunday roasts, alongside more fine dining options and an extended grill section.
Inside, dine in our large and spacious dining room, or grab a bite in the bar as you see fit; four-legged friends are welcome too.
Outdoors, bask on our ample terrace or garden for sundowner drinks and al fresco dining, or cosy up in one of our outdoor thatched huts, complete with their own heaters.
We've got a fun-packed children's play area onside as well.

Good food, though one burger was rather burnt, portions were generous and service good. We had to wait quite a while for food as there was a very large party there at the same time which was a little frustrating, though serving staff said they'd get food to us as quickly as they could.

All good. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service A bit pricey and one ropey piece of beef but that was one minor thing in 6 decent meals

There appeared to be a staff shortage and everything was slow or required self help to do things expected of the waiting staff [eg clearing the table, pouring the wine etc.]. Meanwhile the "landlord" sat for a lengthy period sitting chatting with onetable.

Fantastic venue, food was incredible. Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious, everything handmade with care! I would highly recommend!!

13 Ramblers for lunch. It was a lovely day so we sat outside. We ordered at the bar. Food was enjoyed by all and all very pleasant.

Staff were pleasant and helpful and the surroundings are interesting and pleasant. 12.30 on Sunday we will avoid in future because it was too noisy. My husband enjoyed his meal but mine was cold. But thanks are due because we were therefore given a discount.

Lovely setting. Busy as it was mother’s day, but very attentive waiting staff and drinks etc very quick to arrive. Food was mixed. Salmon fish cake was fantastic. Roast was good barring the dry and overcooked Yorkshire’s. Dessert let the side down completely. The ‘crumble’ was a large amount of warm, very sweet texture less compote (reminding me of tinned pie fillings my nan used to use in the 80’s) with some cold biscuit crumb sprinkled on top. Not a crumble in the true sense of having been baked at all. And for £7! Not the anticipated warm crumble that melts the icecream at all. A big disappointment. Would I eat there again? Absolutely- I just wouldn’t bother with dessert.
