The Block Food + Drink is located just off Louisiana Ave. S on Walker Street for lunch or dinner daily and brunch on weekends. The Block serves up hot broasted chicken, elevated bar food, sandwiches and burgers, rice bowls, vegan items, and more. We had a nice time. We were on the patio and it was off and on cold due to people opening the door. The food was really good, the tots could have been crispier. The wings were awesome! They were very busy and our server wasn't great about checking back for drinks and never refilled our waters. I don't like the automatic 20% gratuity added to parties larger than 7. They were very helpful when I needed to adjust my reservation.

I met up with a friend I haven't seen in about four years. He asked for a "nice" place to get together and eat at. I chose The Block. My friend was very impressed with the place, service, and food. It was nice going during weekend brunch time as the menu offers quite a bit of variety. I got my favorite Eggs Benedict - so good! Anna was a delight to work with - very helpful, kind, and attentive. Thank you to all for helping make a great reunion with a friend!

We were super impressed with their new monthly special! For $29, two people get to pick 1 appetizer, 2 side salads or soup, and 2 entrees. (All from a list of selections) Not only was it a great deal, but they were also new and delicious items! We loved the "Dirty Sodas" as well - so flavorful! It was another great night and we extremely enjoyed Keith as our server. We had a blast - so many laughs, great conversations, amazing food, and wonderful atmosphere!

Second time here, had to come back for their BBQ Boneless wings, best wings ever!! Have a new pup, he loves this place and all the servers are very welcoming(server with blue hair is great). Won $300 on pull tabs and tipped server $30 on a $70 tab. We’ll be back!! Also Lavender Vodka Lemonade was amazing.

We eat at The Block and affiliated restaurants because of their vegan options. I have more than one menu item to choose from as the sole vegan in my family and everyone else can be happy too. Good food, good service, good vibe.

Great experience eating here. The servers don’t seem rushed or too busy with tables and our food came out very quickly. They treated our pup extremely well and were ready with the table, water bowl and treat right at 7:15. The food was also excellent. My wife had the Phuket bowl and I had the cowboy burger and we both left with clean plates! Will definitely be back!!

The Block is a great place to go with a small group. The food is delicious. The broasted chicken is amazing. We found it to be a little on the noisy side but we have been to worse places in relation to the noise. Highly recommend!
