Host and server were friendly with a smile, accommodated my parents’, aunts’ and uncles’ first to Detroit dining. We all enjoyed our food and experience. May have been a little loud for them but overall, we enjoyed and would come back.

The Block never fails to disappoint. Service and good both parallel in quality. The absolutely love the DJ for Brunch. Don’t take anyone’s word just come out and form your song own opinion. A reservation is a must unless you’re standing at the door at noon on Saturday or 11am on Sunday

My experience was a 10 out of 10. Everything was amazing. The service the food the drinks the desserts I am from Chicago living in Indiana was visiting with family from Lansing, Michigan, and will be making a trip back.

I attended The Block for my birthday brunch and it was a great experience. Customer service was excellent and food the exceptional!

The Block was great. We were celebrating a bride to be and the host made her feel so very special. The food was great. The waitress was a little slow but not too bad. Food was timely. Overall great experience!

The Block is Black owned with a diverse crowd. Went for brunch on a Saturday. the salmon & grits were amazing although it was spicier than expected. For drinks, Green tea shots, Mini Me Mimosa & Sayless were made well. The DJ was great. He definitely set the tone to relate to each person. The atmosphere was definitely geared towards a more season age group but there were families with children there & plenty young adults. Most brunch spots with a DJ don’t allow children so that is a plus. I’d highly recommend visiting! Service was great. I made reservations & sat right down when I arrived. The food & drinks came in a timely matter as well.

Service was very good, quick and although it was quick quality was good. Out server Tiara was good particularly when the service experience she provided comes few and far between these days. The food and drinks were good, too. Not my first visit and will not be my last.

My siblings & I treated our mom to brunch, honoring her 80th birthday. The food was delicious & our server was pleasant & attentive. The music was really good & lively. The DJ called our mom's name out & wished her a great birthday. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

My experience at The Block was AMAMZING! I was promptly seated and given water. My food was delicious and my server Tara was BOMB! Will definitely be back
