   Lovely pub that serves gorgeous Thai food and typical British pub food. Not only is the food fantastic, but the staff are attentive and friendly. It’s definitely worth the extra miles to get there. All my family love it here (and we can be an awkward bunch with food).

   Come to Black Well Ox often as it's the best Thai food in the area. Worth the drive, food is always fantastic- I have never had a bad meal! Staff are lovely and helpful. Couldn't recommend enough!

   I always enjoy the Crispy Duck Sweet Chilli, but with 🌶️ 🌶️ only 2 chilli heat. Brilliant excellent fresh cooked food. Great portion. My wife always chooses from the children’s menu as the normal portion is too much for her and in the past has been given boxed up what she couldn’t eat to take home. Great Thai food served in a proper British pub atmosphere, and this time of year with a real fire in the great. As well as fine cask ale on tap.

   As always, fantastic food and service by such lovely staff who make the place tick. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening by the fire.

   Great friendly quick service with top quality Food and great portions . Tho probably a bit to big for me as I’ve been in a strict diet for 5 months. It was my Birthday so managed to finish it though

    A very nice family lunch with 3 teenage kids. Service very efficient and friendly. A warm, cosy atmosphere. Love the log fire. Price not too expensive. Menu Highlights: Nahm Tok salad (beef). Bamboo shoot stir fry with pork, steamed sea bass. All delicious and beautifully spiced. My daughter loved the potato skins. Menu notes: Prawn tempura were too small and used normal batter like you'd used for fish and chips...not really tempura. Salt and pepper on the table would be nice.
