Black Trumpet Bistro has been a family run restaurant in the heart of Huntington beach. Preparing fresh sauces, soups and dessert daily makes Black Trumpet Bistro a highlight of Huntington beach. We combine fresh ingredients, great recipes and friendly service at a fair price.

The Black Trumpet Bistro specializes in Mediterranean tapas, small plates that bring you flavors from Italy, France, Spain & Greece and right here to Huntington Beach, CA. We also offer full entrees including rack of lamb, meat & seafood paella, a variety of handmade Italian pastas. Cornish game hen, daily board specials, crafted cocktails and extensive wine list.

Never had tapas before? Start with some of our customer favorites, including our house special risotto, truffle fries, tuna tartare, and Brussels sprouts with chorizo.

The staff was as amazing as the food. Every dish was delicious and creative. The chefs were captivating with their cohesive efficiency and high-level skill. A production worth experiencing.

We had a variety of dishes from tapas to mains. I had the Bouillabaisse, delicious. My husband had calamari and a lobster 3 cheese rigatoni. Our friends had BT salad, lentil soup, chicken kabobs. Loved all of them. Desserts were lovely. Wait staff was friendly, helpful, fun. Thanks to Molly and Darwin for great service, nice suggestions and conversation. The manager came over to check on us and stayed to talk for a few. Very pleasant evening. We sat outside and enjoyed the ocean breeze atmosphere. We'll be back.

We always have a great visit! Like, without exception. Last night Molly and her team were wonderful. The food and drinks spectacular too!

Such a wonderful experience as always! My friend and I had the baked feta, arugula salad with the Chilean sea bass…omg all so yummy! With their house sangria which was delicious….and all wrapped up in spectacular service ..BT never disappoints!

We celebrated my parents 63rd wedding anniversary and everything was wonderful. We've been here several times & LOVE it!

The Halibut last night was wonderful. Moist, tender, with a great sauce.. We celebrated a friend's birthday, always a nice celebration at the Black Trumpet.

Molly is a FABULOUS waitress!! The manager makes sure everything is perfect during your experience dining there. Wonderful Restaurant!

We sat outside and shared yummy tapas plates. Our server was attentive and it was a lovely evening.

I recently dined at The Black Trumpet Bistro and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I started with the Tuna tartar which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For my main course, I had the wellington beef , which was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. Overall, I would highly recommend the Black Trumpet to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely be returning in the future.
