amazing food made by the chef Jamie with very generous portions, and incredible service from the lovely staff Jodie, Sinead and Emily. The live music topped the night off with the great atmosphere.

Starter and mains were excellent, desert let it down a little. My wife ordered the special - Monkfish linguine which was too spicy for her (thats very common for her) I ordered the burger which was lovely but my wife & I ended up swapping and I must say I’m glad we did, both the mains were fantastic. I had the chorizo something starter which was also excellent. Deserts were ok, we had lemon posset & triple chocolate fudge cake. Lovely staff, live music which is brilliant, nice atmosphere as well. We’ll definitely be back but probably skip desert. Lovely pub.

2 of us enjoyed the Thursday Steak Night (as we periodically do) very much. The steaks were nicely presented and delicious, the Malbec was excellent and the dessert scrumptious. In fact we shared the dessert and that caused no hassle, apparently. We were made very welcome, and were served most charmingly. We consider ourselves fortunate to have such a splendid pub in our village.

We had a drink and a simple meal. The service was friendly and helpful, but the accompanying music was too loud and intrusive.

Food not as good as previous visits. Steak and Ale pie was good but chicken and chorizo pasta was a bit bland. Staff always friendly though

Lovely pub , lovely friendly staff . Food was very tasty and well presented. The wine was fantastic . Highly recommended by our friends and now by us . Definitely be going back

Had a great meal as usual was a bit disappointed to be told the pub was shutting at 7 due to a private function. It would have been nice to have been told as we would have made different plans, It was rare night away without the kids so we were a bit disappointed and that we couldn’t watch the rest of the football. Food and staff were all great and friendly.

Staying on caravan direct door so nice easy walk….had delightful waitress most obliging and sooooo cheerful….food nice and hot and nicely presented….all in all we found the experience most enjoyable
