Welcome to the Black Bull.
Tucked away in rural Lancashire, between cloud topped hills, green fields, rolling pastures, and lots of cows... sits The Black Bull Inn.
Nestled in the picturesque village of Old Langho, our stone building has been here since the 1500s. Steeped in history it has it's own warm welcome to travellers from far and wide.
Our menu is fresh, local and has a nice balance of those "pub classics" but brought up to date in modern and inventive ways.
Dog friendly in the bar area or garden, and plenty of cosy seating available in front of our roaring fires, in The Library, or in our gorgeous, beamed, renovated Fire Barn.

Not a fan of the set 2 or 3 course meal menu with no other options especially when eating with young adults that don’t want two courses and told we can have a dessert to take home as that’s only option available. We have previously had the cheese and onion pie which was £18 (which I feel is overpriced) but then forced to buy another course which would make the starter or dessert another £16 it’s very expensive for local pub at the end of the day! Feels like they’ve got greedy and if they sustain that price point and not want regular business, good luck to them.

First visit but will not be our last Party of seven for Father’s Day best meal out in a long time and best service in a long time Fantastic food good choice and absolutely no negatives Will be back shortly

We visited the Black Bull for an early evening meal as were passing through the area We were more than pleased with the service plus choice of menu The prices were on the topside but we had two excellent meals and Will certainly visit once more when in the area

Absolutely fantastic dinner with delicious food created by an amazing talented chef. We were served by lovely people, Becky and Bluae who were friendly, amusing and attentive, in other words perfect! Also met with the owner Rebecca who has created a beautiful country pub/restaurant and dedicated to giving diners a memorable experience. We highly recommend the Black Bull, you will not be disappointed! Lynne & Philip 🙂
