More About Us:
The Black Book is a boutique basement wine bar founded by two Master Sommeliers. Located within the energetic epicenter of Soho, on the corner of Old Compton St and minutes from theatreland, we are the West-End’s go-to wine destination.

At the Black Book you will find London’s best ‘by-the-glass’ list stocked within our walk-in Coravin Cellar as well as seasonal fresh ingredients to create a classic menu of Mediterranean inspired small plates, mains and sharing plates.

The kitchen is open Tuesday and Wednesday 5pm - 1am and Thursday to Saturday 5pm - 3am.
Cocktail Hour is 5-9pm Tuesday- Thursday from £7

Great place for special wine selection, great service and cheese platter, The pizza needs major improvement, beside that we really enjoyed our time.

Beautiful space in the West End with a good cocktail & wine list, as well as tasty nibbles. Perfect pre-theatre.

Food great, nice selection of wine but very expensive even for the area. Staff nice but you could really do with a host or someone who can work on the table management, kicking people out when there's empty tables due to a booking coming in never looks great. Still nice tho!

Very good, expansive wine list with some very nice selection. Very nice ambiance both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Good volume level so easy to speak with whoever you are with while having a nice backround hum. It is a bit unclear there's a time limit and you kind of get shoed out when you time is up.
