This was our first visit, very disappointing overall. Service was very poor, not one person asked us if our food was ok. Waited over an hour for our main course, we asked for dessert menu and we are still waiting to placing the order. Food disappointing also.

This was our first time visiting the Bistro and we both thoroughly recommend it. Our meals were perfect, service was very good and it was a very pleasant experience.

A most outstanding meal and excellent value. Probably the best mussels I have ever had and a main course to match. Excellent wine selection. Very friendly attentive staff. A must visit.

Excellent, nice place, organised time well. Needs more than one 5 seater. Nice bar stools at window which i think should be used more. Always good food, nice service. Be good to see menu changing more often

Sunday was the first time two friends and I had lunch at The Bistro. The food was excellent: mussels for starter followed by daube of beef. The staff were very pleasant, attentive, and helpful. ‘Will definitely go back.

Food was tasty and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside is that the booth seating is a bit cramped ie not much foot room and not much body space between table and seat. Would come back again but would chose the tables with the proper chairs.

Had a lovely time at the bistro, however we wee disappointed with a special being unavailable and the lack of a chosen vegan meal. My husband’s rib eye steak was a bit tough. All in though it was a lovely night. The chips with truffle and Parmesan are delicious!

Looking for somewhere to celebrate my birthday and chose The Bistro as the reviews were all very good. This little gem of a place certainly lived up to the reviews with a warm friendly welcome. The food was outstanding along with the service, we never felt rushed and the staff were attentive when required. Had the rolled shoulder of lamb which was cooked to perfection, followed this with the most amazing cherry desert to finish off an exceptional evening.
