Sit back, relax, and forget about the washing up as our banqueting team take care of Christmas lunch for you. Get stuffing with roast Turkey breast, and festive delights as you enjoy a three-course feast to enjoy with your nearest and dearest in the majestic setting of Salomons Estate. Tables are available from mid-day until 3.00pm and bookings cost £99 per adult and £49.50 per child (12 years and under).

Lovely starters and pudding but main course disappointing. I had roast beef but the Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and beef difficult to cut. I also prefer to add my own gravy as it smothered the plate. We hoped to add Salomon's to our shortlist for wedding venues but the food unfortunately did not have that extra special quality. However the staff were very good and helpful in letting us look at the wedding areas.

This visit not as good as our previous 1st visit. We had afternoon tea for 4. We took 2 ladies as a treat. Their regular afternoon tea was really good - however our gluten free version was not equal to theirs. Our sandwiches were much smaller and with far less filling. The smoked salmon was hardly there. And sadly the bread was very dry. We've eaten many afternoon teas and there's no need for gf bread to be dried out these days. The scones were delicious. Thank you to the chef! And the little dessert cakes also delicious but whilst the regular afternoon tea had 3 dessert cakes our gluten free version had only 2 cakes. We thought this was a bit naughty because we paid no less and the menu didn't say less for us. I was told it was because we're gluten free. On our first visit to Salomons, which we hold as one of the best afternoon teas we've had, there was no difference between gluten free and regular afternoon tea. It was superb. The atmosphere was so wonderful. Sadly Salomons seems to have lost some of that energy which was there before.

It was just ok. Probably wouldn’t go again. Booked afternoon tea for my mum’s birthday. We were shoved in the corner at a pretty unpleasant table. I asked if we could move and was told by the manager that the conservatory was full and we had to request it (no mention of this when booking). The food was ok, service was ok. Just generally pretty average. Couldn’t help but think we’d have been pretty off at gales.

Very good, attentive and with spillages resolved with ease. I'm sure they used to have higher quality food and a wider selection. As Afternoon Tea it be nice to have a Tea to drink menu and a run through of the different plates.

Unfortunate miscommunication about the fact we were able to book for high tea whereas only Christmas lunch was being served. So we settled for just appetizer and desert which both were of moderate quality unfortunately. Staff friendly and helpful.

Tasty Afternoon Tea with good choice of teas. Had to ask for additional jam and cream for the scones but staff very attentive.

Beautiful surroundings, gorgeous food and great service.. all at a very good price. This is always feels like such a special venue to visit and the food is really top notch, cooked wonderfully and also stunningly presented. I am fussy with my roast dinners and this is perfect for Sunday lunch!
