The Birdham at Bembridge aim to serve the best food using local produce throughout our menu.

Our pub is made up of many areas, so we can cater for all types of occasions. We have snug quiet areas, large function areas and everything in between.

Our kitchen team is lead by head chef, Rob McLean who is passionate about creating traditional dishes with a unique twist.

My wife and I were very disappointed at the quality of the meat. Everything looked very good but my wife’s pork was tough and my beef was also tough. Both of us left most of our meat. The vegetables were generally OK for a carvery. Service and ambiance were very good. We have eaten at the Birdham frequently in the past and it has been OK but today was a big disappointment.

Good choice of pub style food with one or two less common dishes. Atmosphere is a little bland but then the live music started, accompanied by a well oiled hen party. Fortunately, we were nearly finished.

Our first visit to Birdham, the food and service were very good . Our waiter was dealing with everyone in the Chart room he was very good but did seem rather busy. Thank you.

The food was very nice, we had the Sunday carvery and the meat was amazing with very tasty veg and gravy. Will be going again

Noise level only high as there was a birthday party, no bother to us during our meal though. Food was amazing and was a great price considering how ‘upmarket’ it was to a bog standard pub. Will 100% return and I recommend the truffle mac and cheese!

It was Bank Holiday weekend and therefore exceptionally busy, scooters also in town so and some. Staff were great but so busy, service times were long and we were charge over £19 for a Guinness and two soft drinks. The queue for the carvery was long and slow (informed by a regular in the queue that she had never seen this). Food was great. Overall, I think we picked the wrong weekend, but we will go back

What a wonderful meal we had at The Birdham in Bembridge. It was our first visit since the change of ownership and we were impressed! The service was excellent. Special thanks to Anthony for looking after us; nothing was too much trouble 👏 The food was delicious and we particularly loved the selection of vegetables served with the Sunday roast and the quality and quantity of the meat! We will be back soon!
